Is it genetics or could these creatures have control over themselves?
thats a nurture issue. no one told them not to eat a whole box of twinkies in one sitting
You are cleared to dock
>PSX
They're nice to have around. Older cats tend to be more relaxed and social. Kittens are fun too, but a lot more work.

I don't know where I picked this up, but I was sort of under the impression that "board" was an actual term, but not one synonymous with "level." I thought it sort of referred to a continuous area; like the main level would be one "board," but any side or bonus areas that required a load screen to access would be their own "boards," because they were stored and loaded separately. Or some shit. Again, I have no idea where I got that, so it's probably bullshit.

It's bad enough when someone says "mee-lee" but I had a friend once who said it louder than the rest of his sentence as if to passive-aggressively correct my proper pronunciation of it.

Where the fuck did "toon" come from?
I sometimes call self-contained levels "boards," along with Mario Party boards, of course. A good example of something I'd call a board would be a Mario 64 world. The fact that it's a clearly sectioned off square of an area lends to it for me.

I have no idea but I see it mainly when people who grew up with WoW start talking about characters so I always thought it started there.
Whatever the case, it sounds weird and childish.

a VERY small amount of people who played toontown as their first mmo called their characters in other mmos "toons". some people got extremely mad at them for being retarded, others thought it was hilarious and started calling their characters toons ironically
>>rogue-lite
Your shitty action games with randomized content and permadeath aren't fucking roguelikes you sperg.

It's a blanket term to describe things like sound effects, snappiness of the animations, hit stop and such that casuals notice but can't articulate because they don't think before they speak, they just blab about shit they don't bother learning about and still think their opinion matters more than dogshit.
