it's weird how they were able to make such a good game and no one was ever able to replicate it as well in terms of mixing the RPG aspects of it with the narrative
for example, take Dark Souls as another cult classic contemporary, From was able to make games that are either on par or surpass it over the span of 10 years, but both Obsidian and Bethesda aren't even close to making a game that's even as slightly good as New Vegas

If you're a ADD-ridden zoomer you're pretty much done with the game, but if you actually take the time to explore the world there's a ton of sidequests that are arguably better than the main quest.

All the companion quests, collect the star bottle caps for festus, kill all the elite named enemies, complete all the possible side quests.

Once that's done if you want more quests download mods like New Vegas Bounties or Dog City Denver, if you want more sandbox download Wasteland Defense or Run the Lucky 38, Rebuild Nipton.

You could also play New California, its not finished but still plenty of hours of fun in it.

So much cool shit could've been done with this map, it's a shame obsidian didn't have enough time to even finish the game.

It didn't really bother me, but the game itself felt off, there was no cool introductory quest like the prison escapees vs the town or actual fun in the game
it felt more like it was trying to be another generic RPG than having the campy fun of Fallout, radio stations would have helped the game so much honestly

Minus the nostalgia this game isn't that good. I tried it for the first time and the gameplay sucks ass and doesn't tell you what to do. The new innovations to the RPG genre recently are noticeably absent.
