f you're playing the Reignited version of the game then I don't blame you for thinking this. They are flat out broken.

I never had problems with any of them, yeah, they are annoying, but I never encountered any glitches.

We know, that's why only 1 and 2 get replayed.

The hockey game in 2 was complete shit tho

skateboarding sucks and i ragequit on the chinese dragon dual boss minigame last night.
yes it was.

N'ah, they're fine

I played this trilogy and crash trilogy for the first time in my life and it made realize how superior 3d nintendo games are.

>he cant beat bentley boxing on the first try
LMAO

Skateboarding is fucking fun.

Only in 3?

they are really annoying me in 3, probably because im burnt out from then having just finished 2. still i find the ones in 3 more tedious.

>ragequitting in spyro
I played this as a kid and even then I knew it wasn't a challenging game.

>Never played Spyro before the trilogy
>3 was better then 2, because you had new characters to make the gameplay more less repetitive and the game was also longer with more content
>Only thing 2 had over 3, was it had more unique cutscenes
>MFW all the nostalgia boomers keeps saying 2 is better because it is the first game they played

I like the flying levels of 3 more than the other two for some reason.

If it wasn't for that boss that would be the best level in that game.

The twin dragons game in 3 is fucking broken.

Rage quit

Explain plz

The dragons aren't hard but they're tedious as hell.

1 was the first game I played. I still think 2 is the best. I think the levels are more memorable and fun. But its subjective so I could see you liking 3.

If I recall correctly even when they were knew people kept arguing about which one was better between 2 and 3.

I didnt like minigames in 3 OR 2. Didnt like all the additional cutscenes and dialog either. I enjoyed 1 the most cause it was a mostly uninterrupted platforming game that focuses on core mechanics. The other games had tons of stuff on top of that, but I didnt like the toppings.

Hardest thing in the trilogy. Beat them but it took fucking forever.

I just want to fuck the dragons in Spyro 1.

I was seriously surprised by how difficult it was. It took me at least half an hour, possibly more, I don't remember, but I was frustrated
I remember that minigame being quite easy in the original game as I beat it without a problem as a 6 year old kid

>Hardest thing in the trilogy
Isn't Gulp harder?

Ohhh yeah wasnt that the second boss? He’s the only thing that might give the dragons a run for their money but I’d still give him the silver when it comes to greatest challenge. He was tough for sure though.

The green guy from the second game.

its my first time playing these games and i am having a fun time with how light hearted the gameplay and atmosphere are, but i dont find a single level in these game to be memorable desu. if you told me a random level by name or showed a picture of one and told me to guess the name, i wouldnt be able to tell you. i feel they dont have any landmarks or elements in them that really standout to make you remember.

Better than the ones in 2

is the reignited trilogy as shit as shit as the Crash remakes or are they actually decent?

How shit at games do you have to be to RQ on stuff kids beat in the early 2000s?

They're alright.

They kinda fucked up the swimming controls. That’s the only real complaint I’ve heard besides soulless memes. I had fun with them.

because at the time of playing it i had already played the game for hours and was tired of playing. i have beaten it since then

That's why Switch can only run Spyro in 720p and 30 fps?

I thought the minigames were more shit in the original.

he obviously is talking about gameplay not tech and i agree with him.

thats not the point lmfao

I was surprised how short the games are. Beat the whole trilogy in about 20 hours. Obviously that isnt 100%ing, but still.

The ones in 2 are pretty irritating as well. Didn't get stuck on any of them or anything but 2 was just full of really tedious bullshit that just was not fun to play.

Is it just me or is spyro 2 weirdly much harder than 3?
Also fuck that hockey minigame. The goalkeeper works against you.

>Spyro Reignited's whack a mole challenge in the final hub
2 never got that bad. The original game never got that bad.

What's one thing every game does better than the other, /v?

2 has a better villain than 1 and more memorable NPCs. 3 to me doesn't really do anything better than 1 or 2.

1 Purest platforming experience, no interruptions, get to do stuff on the loading screens (no idea why they got rid of the last one in sequels)
2 Most changes/improvements to core moveset, I would say the most charming story
3 Most playable characters

Never thought about it but I mostly agree about level design. I think any level with geomancers is really solid though. I also thought the sky level in 1 was really well done.

Im not huge on 3 but in retrospect I liked the future city and robot farm levels a lot.

I also really liked the swamp world that was in 1. Or 2? I forget.

They're better than 2's by far.

>most of them use the extremely fun powerups
>dual dragon superflame bossfight
>Sheila tower defense
>Agent 9 survival minigames
>supercharge quests
>blowing up submarines
>making Hunter die horribly in Speedway quests
>fucking skateboarding competitions

was it one of those flying levels or was it a level that was in some kind of sky world?

Not one of the flying games. It was a sky level where there were sets of three or four fairies who would make wind updrafts.

I just remember thinking it was a course with A LOT of freedom on where you go, a good balance of earning new areas, the fairies added extra collectibles with near immediate changes to the level, and a satisfying density of obstalces/enemies/pits.

Didnt think about all of this til now, but I’m realizing its probably my favorite level in the game/series.

I can play the N sane trilogy and love it to death, but Jesus fuck did they drop the ball on ignited trilogy. It just doesn’t have the same charm. Feels off.

most games were just annoying
the skateboard race is particular is bullshit

the games have negative difficulty

>Im not huge on 3 but in retrospect I liked the future city and robot farm levels a lot.
but those two levels were from 2 user

ah. i remember which one you mean now. its a cool level you're right

N. Sane has some charm missing from it too. I really just want brand new games from Crash and Spyro. Playing games I grew up on in different paint was fun but they dropped the ball in a lot of areas.

3 is annoying, just play 1&2 and be done with it, even the creators of the games said in a video interview that they done everything they can do with Spyro by 3, and felt the games have run their course

1 was my first, 2 is better than 3

1 was always my favorite for those same reasons as well

Huh, guess I remembered wrong. Played the trilogy all at once so sometimes I mix stuff up.

i liked how the dragons you saved in the first game are all unique looking and voiced. saving the baby dragons in 3 is pretty lackluster and i always skip their little dances.

A true story

I agree completely.
