I don't get the point of the Xbox or the PS at this point.

Switch I get, its underpowered and has trouble running some of its games, but really its for ports on the go and a few Nintendo titles. It has a function I can't do with a PC easily and a better screen than my old PSP for some it.

PS and Xbox stopped having a point a few generations ago. When PS3/360 came out I couldn't make a pick and ended up buying a GPU instead. That GPU was better than what came in the original PS4 despite being mid-tier at the time but I upgraded GPU again around that time too. The very few exclusives of interest they had just weren't worth it and they don't offer anything like portability or a touch screen or something that made it unique. The upfront cost is lower but the long term is higher.

Those two exist in the world of parents that won't let their kids near a screwdriver and thermalpaste. If Nintendo stopped dicking around and made something with power enough to play multiplat games with the WiiU or Switch could you imagine how much shit Sony and MS would have eaten. And don't take this as pro-Nintendo thing. They are a pack of cunts probably worse than the other two, but they do have fun games and they wheel out Miyamoto to stick a friendly face on their hell monolith now and then.
