>tfw not really looking forward to silksong because there's no way it'll be as good
Man, it's not every day that I love a game so much that I want to keep my memory of it fully intact
that's right, it looks far better.
help him
still no porn of her
>mfw I beated it without all the pogo needle gymnastics people said was necessary
Some people are just bad at videogames
>bigger map
>more towns, npc's, enemies and bosses
>more stuff to do with quest system
>simmilar character with new abilities
>soundtrack composed by an entire orchestra/physics/slightly better looking art direction thanks to bigger budget
What else could you want?
>le newgrounds face
I always let Zote die so that this thick bug bitch stays thirsty for me
>trial and error through every obstacle for almost an hour only to die to kingsmoulds
2 times
>tfw i got to the last place before the "boss" on that path of fury and torture, and couldn't beat it(the track)
cocksuckers. i want that 112%.
I just hit Traitor Lord and feel like I'm at the limit of my skill. I should be able to get lucky if I keep powering through but I fear for everything else coming after.
I should've left this fucker to die.
Just dash through his attacks lol
I hope Silksong has more filtering platforming sections like Path of Pain but in the middle of the game.
honestly one of the worst bosses in the game, what a pain
there's some fat stuff of her though.
Traitor Lord, Nightmare King Grimm and Absolute Radiance are poorly designed so don't feel bad if you struggle against them
fat fuck
Oh come on
NKG gives some of the clearest sign as to what attack he is going to make
The only part where he may get a cheap hit on you is the flames he shoots after the slash-uppercut combo
After you beat him once or twice you realize how easy he was
Traitor Lord whooped my ass for about a week before I beat her. On subsequent replays I've beat her first try every time.
You'll get there, user.
>After you beat him once or twice you realize how easy he was
I didn't say NKG was hard. I said his fight is poorly designed
how?
>her
you can't do path of pain without pogoing
what artists
worst bug
I did. git gud
Nothing like fighting the same guy 20 times in a row with slight variances. That was my on issue with it, just got monotonous

You didn't even fucking look
This game is trial and error. You're going to hit a lot of boss fights that you'll suck at until you master whatever specific skills you need to master to beat them. And then after you'll be better at it. It's just like dark souls. Ds1 took me 50 hours to beat in full. DS3 took me 18.
youtu.be
teach me your ways, how did you get past this without pogo
Traitor Lord and the Mantis Lords are all goils.
Or this
You can't finish the first "chamber" withouy doing a pogo
Are you sure about that?
Huh, could've sworn.
oh wow, I always assumed they were all chicks
The fight is meant to be annoying, not enjoyable. Have a hex and calm down.
imagine what else in life you're wrong about, dipshits.
hey no need to be a spaz
Are you ok, user?
It makes sense in the story
>Male mantises are weaker and smaller
>traitor lord took the infection to rival his sisters
Rude
>mfw trying to do these sections on switch with low fps with pauses that last an entire second
I think it only did that because I would leave the switch in sleep mode and they clearly didn't expect people to do that. Either that or those sections are just awful on switch. Words can't describe the frustration I was feeling whenever I'd die because the fps just randomly tanked to 3.
how the fuck does it run that poorly?
I didn't realize when I bought a switch that even indie ports would have framerate issues. Was gonna buy Silksong for Switch.
Having run through PoP on a toaster, I know your pain. It is a deep, seething pain.
The fps was fine for most of the game. It's just that these sections in particular were god awful. I don't think I've seen a single game run that poorly on Switch.
Don't know what you talking about.
The Path of Pain never lagged for me.
Most of my deaths were at the last corridor before the 2 n00bzslay3rs due to not being synchronized enough with that one saw under thorn ceiling penis.
Did you switch games in that time? I think since I left my switch in sleep mode it counted as one long play session which may have caused the lag. Either that or they eventually patched it.
No one should have to live with that kind of pain.
The thing that ACTUALLY annoys me is that your ultimate reward for saving this guy is having him mumble to himself in the corner EVERY FUCKING SECOND you're in Dirtmouth.
How do you save him from deepnest? I've tried every angle and attack but nothing gives
dang, that really hurts my feelings
Up, left and down
After the room with corpse spiders
Nah, but I did leave it a sleep mode for around an hour or so to do some schoolwork in the middle of it.
His attacks are clearly shown, but he is super fast imo, not even the mantis lords are that fast. Also I think it's kinda lame that his fight is literally only 1 phase, eventhought there is some visual identification that he is maybe switching phases, he is still using the exact same abilities.
I feel like if you beat the Ascended version of a boss, it should check off the Attuned version as well. You already proved you could do the harder one there's really no need to prove you could do the easier one as well. Same goes for dream/upgraded versions of bosses. If you beat the dream version, it should check off the normal version.
>my mother always told me "life is like a box of chocolate"
>"you never inow what you get"
>zote mumbling off to the right
>grimmfag playing the accordion next to the bench
>salubra's blessing chanting above me
>grimmchild purring next to me
GET OUT OF MY DIRTMOUTH
And slandering your good name.
Hornet's moveset makes Silksong look way better. My biggest complaint about the first game was that it started way too fucking slow due to the main character being sluggish as hell and Hornet being over twice as fast rectifies that.
I don't really give a shit about that because the only one who's listening to him is the creepy stalker chick who builds shrines and writes fanfiction and frankly I don't need her.
I hope you get your movement upgrades sooner rather than later, makes traversal more enjoyable
I would also like this. Also, if they're going to do a speed booster type power-up, I would like it to be less stiff than the one in the first game.
