I feel like I'm going to regret this, but take The Warrior Returning Alive for him. If nothing else, at least I already have a potential rank-up target.

No, First of the Dragons is still one of my most powerful cards and there's little reason in getting DM if I can't use Dragon's Mirror to either make First or DMtDK with it.

I think I'll just use this as confirmation that I should drop the monarchs from my deck and focus on what makes it good. Strike basically works the same as Prime in that it's great if I can draw it and Pantheism but there's no way that's gonna happen consistently and it'll just be a dead card in my hand most of the time.
