The whole point of different users being available on the Switch was that each user could have their own save file on games.
There is absolutely no reason to make it 1 island per console especially now considering they left an fucking simple item duplication glitch in the game.

Pace is entirely different. Stardew is just harvest moon, AC is much more laid back and the village feels a bit more dynamic to me because of the random events and villagers.
