It won't even top REmake 2 let alone 1. It's really fucking wierd and low budget feeling in some areas. Though I'm sure i'll have a lot of fun.

Not for me though. I love RE3. It's my favorite game of all time. I was excited to see all my favorite scenes and monsters remade in the RE Engine.
And now I know that almost none of them are, my hype for this game has plummeted and I see it as a huge disappointment. I'm sure it'll still be fun but it is absolutely not what I wanted from a 3 remake at all.

Yes. Imo, the original RE3 is the best of the original trio. The same will be true in a Remake-style. Will it be the best traditional RE game? No, but being the best overall is more than just a small possibility.
