>daisy was selling for 92 per turnip
>hot item was tiki torch
>go around get enough wood for 30 torches, make a cool 39k easy and ready to in best a good 50k or so bells to double our money
>finish this all at like 1205, little cunt is gone
Fuck bros she wasn't very clear about leaving at noon, I thought she would be there all sunday.
rate the maid dress i just made
hot
TIMMY ISNT OPEN YET DODO BRAIN
stupid monkey
tarantula island
Please give me tips on good outfit design, because so far all I know is that the key is to do the opposite of what /fa/ says
>quadruple my money from turnip selling
>have 2 mil now
Feel like I've just cheated. I don't think I'll be using multiplayer for this anymore, or I won't feel like I'm actually accomplishing anything.
is it possible to get other kinds of fruit from other islands?
because every fucking island I visit has the same fruit as my home island
just b urself
I've got apples and cherries, open up your island and let's trade if you need those
>Marshal moves to the island
>Goes all over the place smiling and singing.
I may have just found my new favorite villager.
Am I a douche for time traveling once a day? i play 2-4 hours then time travel one day and do it again
It took a few tries but I got an island with almost nothing but apple trees on it, started with cherries.
I like the band aid accessory, I have it too, but wish you could choose to wear just one or the other and not always both.
>buy clothes you like
>wear them
Whew I dont know how anyone manages
I spent entire time in new leaf wearing bancho pompadour and samurai chonmage wigs it's just a fun kids game and it is okay if you end up looking goofy.
I'm so glad balloons give shit other than balloon furniture again
you could make a bandaid facepaint
HES NOT AN EASTCOASTER? FUCKING DIE PLEB> MY ISLAND IS 75 BELLS FOR FUCKS SAKE HELP ME OUT HERE
I don't know why they even have the stalk market feature anymore if every island is going to have different prices. It makes it impossible to not make money with online.
So you can have fun with new friends. It encourages going online and meeting people rather that being stuck with your shitty turnip prices. It's a nice online feature
>buy turnips at 95 bells
>wake up
>they're at 54
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
POST TURNIP PRICES
Lmao I was the one talking about missing out on daisy selling for 92 bells, now I don't feel so bad knowing it can go this low.
If this was still gameboy days and we were limited to people we actually knew that'd be one thing but these days it's just people posting 500 bell prices on twitter and everyone quintupling their money
Did I fuck up Gulliver's wee mission? He's washed up again on my island after I found his parts yesterday. He recognised me though
Yeah. I've never used turnips in past games because I didn't ever play sunday morning and it looks way too overpowered to keep the game fun. Sticking to singleplayer might at least make it feel more rewarding.
With just how massive the price difference can be I think it really just encourages people to be as greedy as possible and find the best island to sell and get out quickly. Imo a ~2.5x return should be the absolute maximum if you're lucky.
Whoever decided to make the first week this much of a slow burn needs to be shot. The pregame should not fucking last more than a few days at most.
BUY HIGH SELL LOW
>repeat furniture pieces in nook shopping for the third day in a row
What the fuck? How small is the item pool?
they needed to pad it because there's nothing else to play
It's fucking animal crossing. I'll find something to do, but give me the fucking town hall and hourly music already
R8 lads
Rex just moved to my island.
How do I make this nigga put some pants on? Seems chill otherwise
>comfy AC game
>fill it with ebin Yas Forums memes
cringe
How autistically are you planning your town?
how long do fruit trees take to grow. did i kill the oranges my mom sent me?
>found a podium from shaking tree
>place it infront of center area
>now all of Tom's morning speeches have a more dignified aura
I don't mind the first three days but having the new villagers all move in one by one over three days is annoying, especially considering how villagers don't really do much for the entire first week.
If they're still in their wee baby state you can dig them up and move them elsewhere. When did you plant them?
I'm stuck in limbo, farming tickets, trying to get a villager I want.
God help me. Two days now.
IIRC it's five days for the tree to mature, then another three for the first batch of fruit.
Kek, I like that
>can finally clean up all the display cases and fill the museum
>NMH
What's up, Yas Forums?
Pretty based room, seems pretty lucky to get both a stereo with turntable AND a box of vinyls.
Who the fuck are you sending faxes to?
Stealing this idea
Anybody gotten to the point where terraforming is available yet? What sort of limitations are there on it?
>day 3
>still not a single new note on public bulletin board
come on nintendo what the fuck
Someonr let me in their shop please
It's a single player game, nobody gives a fuck user, as long as you're having fun.
I'd argue that the game is meant to be played in small doses over months so if you're just rushing through everything in the first two weeks it will suck fast, but that's just me.
thank god
i planted them when the letter arrived, tried giving them decent space and all that
It was originally a rotary phone. Classic electronics add SOUL in my opinion desu. This was my house yesterday before the addition
It's about to rain in my town. Anyone need a Coelacanth? I don't mind chilling with a few of ya and fishing. Pears, Turnips are only 110 lol
H-help my turnips are being sold for 38 bells
Anyone have an idea of how much distance there is between two mounted canvas designs relative to the design grid?
Are there still golden/silver tools and do they break?
Balloons are fucking constant now
How about you just put up two blank ones and find out
Anyone else just stop getting villagers on their nook miles islands after their first three moved in? Used 10 tickets thinking it was rng based, but I guess not
NO BRUCE DON'T
How are you getting all of this furniture so quickly?
Every XX:X5 as far as I can tell
yeah I haven't seen one since I picked my three, but I've seen other people say they got more shortly after that so who knows
Well I meant specifically the numerical amount of pixels on the grid, but that gives me an idea to put two down and then put one above them on a half tile to try and measure it.
You don't get anymore after picking 3
There are golden tools. They break.
What elements of the island are set? River mouths, airport, private beach, that one outcropping of land, but anything else?
how'd you get the switch with grey joycons?
Pretty sure it stops being a method you can use after you get the three new neighbours, which is a shame because it's a more fun and thematic way of finding new animals than the others and would have made Nook Mile Tickets way more useful.
balloons and trees give a lot of furniture
The plant tree nook mile quest doesn't accept transplanting a tree from another island and planting a fruit. You need to buy a stinking sappling from the nook store.
>that one outcropping of land
Is that the grassy outcrop or the rocky outcrop? I sure hope I can move the rocky one.
love the night sky in this game. So comfy
Does anyone have a beard for sale in their town today?
why is the music so shit
Oh boy...my OCD. How will I get over it and still use them.
>He bought?
>Dump it
The hourly music can't come back soon enough.
Town hall/plaza
i'm getting a lot of bamboo items. I have zero bamboos
Anyone have 3 star fragments for sale or trade?
I want to make my wand.
Use Nook miles to buy better taste user.
Is it weird that I want to stagger my museum donations?
I have a fuck ton of fish, bugs and fossils outside of it, but I feel like I want to maybe donate 2 or 3 a day, so I can see the museum slowly grow.
Making it/buying it/balloons
You don't get hourly music until after you complete the 'prologue'
>find out about duping
>get hundreds of thousands of bells
>time traveling to accelerate game progress or I’ll get too bored
>lose all desire to play
Why am I like this? And don’t shame me for “cheating” if the mechanics of the game make it possible to do something
You can customize stuff on day 3 or 4 if I remember right.
you're a powergamer, you naturally suck all the fun out of something for the sake of winning
How the FUCK do I catch a char? I caught probably 60-80 fish in their spawn point at the right times and nothing. Are they just incredibly rare?
That sounds unbelievably autistic
Like, at least you could've prolonged it by a couple of hours if you just went the moral-fag route of trying to get a bug/big fish/tarantula island instead of being cheating scum.
>exploits aren't exploits because if they were, they wouldn't exist IDIOT
How and why do people follow such crazy logic to delude themselves?
How many rooms do you get in your house on final upgrade?
>I ruined the game for myself by cheating
>Don't shame me for cheating
You have nobody to blame but yourself
I have ideas but I'm not going to really do anything until I have the ability to.
Post your turnip prices
>people wasting miles trying to get villagers
Just let them come naturally and use the camp to get the few you want
I will when they open in an hour
>A glitch is a game mechanic
64
>85 turnip price
I've been doing the same thing, I don't need 10 museum descriptions in 1 day
How to catch peacock butterfly :( haven't even seen one yet
Really fucking tempted to time travel past these last 3 days.
I can deal with the game gating me off from content as long as they introduce a satisfying amount of stuff to do each day, but these last few days of villagers moving in is insufferable. When I talked to nook and he told me he had nothing else for me to do, even though I know I still have 2 days of waiting, I thought I was having a fucking nightmare.
53
How is that any different from cheating? It’s kind of being a cuck. You’re waiting for the game to allow you to get rich instead of just taking the initiative to exploit the mechanics yourself
Not my fault the devs suck at their job
Cringe
Here's a sweater for all the cute girls/boys
the dock, and all beach land really...
You need hybrid flowers
Does anyone have any idea where the Backyard-fence wall, Backyard lawn, and Wooden-knot wall items come from? I have them in my catalog but I don't think I've ever held them at all not bought them and they're listed as "Not for sale". There's no way they're HHA things, right?
pretty sure time travelling is part of the game, retards
>Didn't know about the turnip thing and logged on with only an hour left and zero bells
next week I will have a huge nip yard
Anyone have red roses seeds for sale at nooks?
Could someone test how this looks in-game, pretty please?
not when it requires leaving the game to do so
but people who try to justify it don't care about reasoning
>fish for sympathy for ruining the game for yourself
>"it's your own fault retard"
>NOOOO YOU GUYS ARE JERKS CRINGE CRINGE CRINGE
you sound like a fun person.
They don't need to not suck at their job to accept the fact that exploits are exploits and acknowledging what is and isn't intended by the developers. You could use exploits and fully acknowledge it's an exploit. However you don't, you convince yourself that yes this CAN NOT in NO WAY EVER be cheating and MUST be legitimately intended because it exists. It's a pretty insane mentality, I'd love to see what your personal life is like.
