>Significantly more powerful than most PC today
Yeah I'm thinking 4k 60fps gaming for only $500-$600 is based.
Pc btfo
I'm ok with this. This gen is looking like it might actually be worth it this time around. The hard choice is get an xbox with no games, or a snoybox that only has movies.
get the xbox faggot. we dont want you on basedstation
Enjoy your copebox Op.
599 US dollars
599 US dollars
Its better than pc
>modern games
who gives a shit
I ordered my prebuilt cuckpc before the parts shortage sets in. Windows 10 and the humiliation of not building it myself. And incel cpu...
you know youre not gonna hit 60fps on 4k right?
can i install steamOS or windows on it? or any standard x64 OS?
>Its better than pc
Not better than my PC faggot
PC is a weeb machine now, the Japanese despise the Xshit. Imagine not having a Dragon Quest port, not having Ys port, not having Atelier port, not having Nino Kuni port, not having Nioh, the list goes on and on lmao.
Not having FF7 Remake, not having Death Stranding, not even Wonderful 101 oh nonono AHAHAHAHAHA
The Xshit is fucking DEAD
i would rather spend 800 usd on mediocre pc
and while i own consoles people who trying to compare it to pc are retarted
>4k 60fps gaming for only $500-$600
Literally doesn't exist. Congrats on believing it like a moron, though.
If it was truly better, you wouldn't need to try proving it. Ever notice how PC gamers never make threads about how console X, Y, or Z are inferior but console plebs do it all the time?
>Better than most
>Better than all
Nice consistency there, faggot. By no means can a console be better than the personal computer platform, since computers will always have so much more to offer. Even IF underpowered for a short period, computers are still highly modifiable for the user's specific needs and budget. "One size fits all" isn't the top of the pyramid.
Computers will always offer the choices. Prefer graphics over performance? Performance over graphics? You choose. Want to play old games because you just feel like it after playing the most recent eye candy game? You can, without begging a console manufacturer to port/remake each and every game to their new console iteration. Feel like using your machine to do literally anything other than game, say work? You may choose to do that. Don't want to buy your games? Want to buy them from a cheaper store? Don't want to be bound to a single input method? Prefer to switch the OS or some singular component?
All of these are valid choices you have at your disposal. And the best part is that you don't need to ask anyone for permission to make these choices. Even if you're not handed some of these choices, you can still add them via modding (software and hardware alike). As such, consoles can never be better than personal computers, no matter how many buzzwords are used to sell them.
>>Better than most
it's basically 2080 power. Do you honestly think everyone has a 2080ti or what?
This is how it's gonna go OP
>devs: with this much horsepower we got our game running at 4k@60fps
>marketing: can you add more shaders and texture details to make it look prettier for our pictures?
>dev: sure but that'd tank the framerate to 30
>marketing: do it
>This cope
Kek
>dude just trust me! preorder it today!
Dude my 2014 PC with a 2017 GPU is better than the Xbox Series X.
It doesn't take much to beat it.
>machines with no less than sli/crossfire with the most expensive video cards on the market can barely do 4k/60fps
>spoonfed morons like you think a $500 console can do it
It must be bliss to be so retarded.
You can literally watch digital foundry play gears 5 at 4k/60fps insane settings on xsex
>only 8 cores
and 40 dollaridoos a year for online which makes the total
--500 + 280
>whats that only one ssd isnt enough?
> extra 100 bucks guaranteed as jews love pricing up storage, and the SeXboX has a ssd port on its back
fuck the sexbox id rather buy an xbone and play singleplayer
Yeah, sure. With how many shortcuts in the graphical settings behind the scenes?
I'm sorry dude, but you're fucking delusional. All you gotta do is talk to literally an PC owner who is willing to spend the money to make their systems run games at 4k. Your consoles either have to cheat somewhere along the line, or they're physically incapable of that kind of performance. You cannot argue this.
>1080ti
>no ray tracing
Hahaha
>he thinks XSX will let you hook up a SSD
LEL
say hello to memory cards, they are back
>Yeah, sure. With how many shortcuts in the graphical settings behind the scenes?
It's called dev optimization, something pc fags will never experience
Literally running better than rtx 2080 with settings pc cant even handle
wow boring linear 3rd person shooter
kys
thats exactly what im referring to,
i even mentioned the port built in for them, the sexbox knows the built in storage is anemic
Whatever helps you sleep at night, dude.
>talk to literally an PC owner who is willing to spend the money to make their systems run games at 4k.
>implying pc gamers know anything about computers other than running games
being locked to controller alone is the reason why i'm still gonna play on PC
>but you can use mouse and keyboard
only if a game supports it
>60fps
As always, 60fps will only apply to handful of lower fidelity titles. Higher graphic fidelity will always be desirable and therefore 30fps will always be the target. PC ports of these games with better hardware that can brute force higher frame rates will of course also be there too. But that doesn’t mean the console can’t keep up with PC... I mean it’s a fact that consoles won’t keep up with PC since PC will continue to get hardware refreshes. There is literally nothing to see here
>4k 60fps gaming for only $500-$600
careful, that's what they sold you last time
Cope
>30fps will always be the target
Why would there be a new generation of consoles to keep the same performance? Its clearly going to be 60 across the board.
you autists said the same thing in 2013
*meme tracing
>Significantly more powerful than most PC today
But that's pretty much always the thing with consoles? They come out, they are relatively to very powerful for the price because manufactures sell consoles at a loss. Aiming to make the money back on the gaems.
Then half a year, a year passes and they start to lack behind PCs again, because new mid-range stuff becomes equal/better than the console.
On top of that, yes the console is "day one" a better price, but you pay for that by the thing having like 1 good game, a bunch of quick arcade shit and like 1 racing game because racing games are easy to make and can be made to look amazingly detailed. On top of that most games release at full price and rarely get cheaper.
PC will outclass it again in the long-run. I mean I'm happy my console brothers get a nice upgrade, but if you think you can "Btfo" PC, you're setting yourself up for fail.
Also:
>he thinks it's gonna be 4k 60fps
For some games maybe. But it's console. All the retard devs are gonna go WAY too hard on graphics, realize they in no way can reach a stable 60 and you'll get a "cinematic" 30 again.
Is this bait?
1080 Ti will be bitch slapped.
It lacks DX12U support, and the raw IPC is also lacking these days.
Yes, everyone is going to have a 3060 which will match that.
>4770k
lamoooooooooo
>ignoring the fact that next gen gpu's are about to drop
your shitbox is gonna be top of the line for a few months tops.
>Quadcore CPU
>DDR3 RAM
>SATA SSDs
These consoles are going to slap your PC quite hard, sorry to break it to you.
I'm always gonna have an expensive gaming PC as my primary device next to any console anyway, but their optimized tech for the likely price is gonna be a better deal than any gaming PC for a while. An equivalent graphics card alone is gonna cost nearly as much as these consoles, and you literally can't get that SSD speed and integration in the PC sphere. PC would probably drag early multiplats down if they weren't already gonna get dragged down by cross-gen releases.
>4770k
>1080ti
I'm pc only but stop being retarded
Any PC you'd buy half a year from now would be significantly more powerful than most PCs today, user.
www.digitaltrends.com/gaming/the-xbox-series-x-is-faster-than-your-gaming-pc-now-what/
Steam data shows that most common gfx cards are (user %)
>1060 13%
>1050ti 9%
>1050 6%
keep in mind that the X1x is better than a 1060
REMEMBER THAT NEXT GEN CONSOLES WILL RENDER ALL CURRENT GPUS REDUNDANT coz of next gen RTX
Most Pkeks are still rocking ancient, inefficient, multi-generations old quad-core CPUs like .
I like the new xbox but I'm still not gonna get it.
But if I was to buy a console that would be it.
>Do you have to pay monthly "server costs"?
Yes
>Then PC is still superior.
Not better.
But sure as hell cheaper.
4c/8t is not dead as people here may think. I mean, yeah the 4770K will be, but newer ones won't, because consoles aim for greater than 1080p. You can just play at 1080p on a 4c/8t in the future.
>wait for next Nvidia series
>buy new PC
>it outdoes the series x
also, well played with the name, people will not be shortening it for SeX this time
>he plays online
>this nigga
Both new consoles are going to shit all over your PC.
Do consolefags not realise that PC tech keeps moving forwards?
Why are you talking as if this thing is out now, rather than like a year from now, assuming it doesn't get fucked by corona?
Sure, and when all the normies buy it then they release new gpus and cpus that btfo the consoles for maybe 100 bucks more.
This is what gets me.
PC fags thinks everyone plays online games. I have played like 2 games online the past 2 years.
You have noticed that the industry is pivoting towards allways online live service BS right. If you think you'll get your money's worth out of any next gen console without paying out the nose for connecting it to the internet you are dillutional.
It's like laser printers. They sell the unit at a loss so they can sell you all the other shit you need at extortionate prices.
You can buy a Ryzen 4600X and a RTX3060 for a standard PC cost when the consoles come out. Then upgrade your CPU to a 4900X many years later and of course buy some cheap newer GPU also.
I want to know what its power consumption is, that will tell us what it will really do.
I remember all this with the PS4 and Xbone and then when you realize its running on a small power brick the amazing GPU power they had was really just the mobile laptop version of the desktop cards from before.
>Significantly more powerful than most PC today
But will it be more powerful than most PC on the day of its relesse?
