A wh40k ork flying game? Wtf, this can't get more niche.

Gonna be honest. Dawn of War III could be salvaged. The biggest issue was just how EMPTY the game was at launch with only 2 maps, 1 multiplayer game mode and terrible balance at Launch. I mean, With some other issues like
>Chaos is the main bad guys of the campaign... But they couldn't reskin Space Marines into Chaos Space Marines. You instead fight Eldar/Ork/Space Marine Ghosts.
>A dumb middle ground between DOW 1 and 2 mechanics that doesn't do justice what made those games fun. You make a giant army of specific dudes with easy to use abilities that doesn't require you to direct or face them.
>Add more game modes or just make atleast one expansion before giving up. Salvage the game and your hard work.

Dawn of War III hurt me, but it hurts worse since out of everyone fixing their games... This one is left to rust.

>Gorgutz new model and abilities feel so good, I want a miniture of him to lead my own band of Orkz for him to lead on the tabletop and for GW to write rules for his Grapple Klaw
>Knights feel pretty fun to have stomping around and riddle your enemy with bullets. I really wanted more of that if they did DLC with Giant Chaos Demons, Giant T'au suits and so on.

I just played Retribution, finsihed the IG story and started the nid story, what the fucki were they thinking? I thought people were joking when they said the campaigns were all exactly the same, they're charging 30 bucks for this shit?

Yup. They straight up ditched the series, DoW3 didn't even have a shitty DLC pack to go with it as is the modern norm which just goes to show how badly it flopped.

It's good for about 30 to 40 hours until you get through the missions and play around in MP but after that it gets stale. The MP can be really hardcore but the game is missing meat to chew on for longer.

Play DoomEternal and pretend you are a space marine. It has similar aesthetics and high test feel.

Isn't it crazy how for trailers it's 3 > 2 > 1, but for games it's 1 > 2 > 3

Try planet side and pretend your a guardsman.

The maps are the same but it differs depending on the faction you play with. For exemple in some missions you will find IG and hey will join/help you if you are IG, if you are orks/etc they are just hostile. Altho yeah, they definetely should have changed it a lot more. Play the Ork campaign for best story.

Why is GW so obsessed with Blood Ravens and ultrasmurfs?

There was a glassdoor review (or whatever that job review site is) of relic after dow3 dtopped. Was quite scathing. Around that time there were some larpers/employees talking about the absolute fuckery that was the dow3 management, vision and communication among other things.
Would also be interested in a post mortem of that game.

That trailer was so fucking good. I was hyped for a new Dawn of War until they actually started talking about the game. It was just bad news after bad news until I just stopped paying attention and it came out and bombed without me even being aware for like 6 months.

Damn shame.

It's like the same story of cyberpunk 2077, except that game is on consoles so it wont bomb.

The thing that always blew my mind about the game was that one of DoW2's stand-out concepts was Last Stand, and DoW3 even had commander abilities and a goddamn level inspired by Last Stand mechanics and yet when it all came down to it they just didn't do anything with it. They just didn't do anything at all, that probably sums the whole mess up.

I just want another game like 1 but better, is that too much to ask for?
