>you just got out of vault 101
>now what do? (hard mode: no uninstall)
You just got out of vault 101
Other urls found in this thread:
play new vegas
Go to Megaton, talk to locals to get fun quests.
Once you get beefy in the mid game, go explore around the place. The Dunnwich building is a personal fav
>no uninstall
fuck, i can still close the game though right?
kill the nigger sheriff and get his AK
>(hard mode: no uninstall)
magnet to hard drive
Close the game and play FO4 instead
I never understood the hate for fo3. I mean it's not a perfect game and is not really a good fallout game but it's still fun, no?
Just go wherever you want the map is open
fun game for the first time. worst game for second gameplay
fpbp
Man why is there this huge antagonism between Fallout NV and 3? They're both mostly the same game anyway.
Sometimes you just play too much of one, and you want to play the other
it was the normalfags first "rpg" game
on top of fucking over everything the FO1 and 2 did
Loot all the mail boxes.
>assuming I have all the performance mods and tweaks
I go to megaton to get armored 101 suit
do a few tasks for moira
get dogmeat
Kill and loot whatever on my way to gnr
do main quest all the way up to citadel
get power armor training
proceed to then do side quests after most are done do point lookout
after that finish main story
after you wake up do pitt
than finish any side quests/locations
then do broken steel
boom game over.
I skip zeta and anchorage
they are a one and done type of dlc.
For you man. There is still a ton of shit you don't get to see in just one play through, and every dungeon has it's own depth that you won't see in just the one playthrough
the game has been out a really long time. Its hard to look at it in a good light after 3 100hr+ play throughs
i liked it. side quests were great and there were fun things to discover all over the place. main story was trash. it's also inferior to new vegas in every possible way and there are a lot more mods out for it.
fallout 4 is good but the main story is complete trash tier. i wish obsidian used the fallout 4 base (like they did with FO3) and put their own world/story into it. luckily there's some based modders out there who are working on Fallout 4: New Vegas
seethe boomer. No one wants to play old ass games that control like shit where you can be 2 inches away from a giant fucking scorpion and still miss.
>Fucking over everything FO1 and 2 did
In what way?
ive never once felt like replaying 3, and ive played new vegas like 6 times
(You)
>They're both mostly the same game anyway.
kill youself
actually, I saw basically everything worthwhile in my first playthrough, and had no desire to play it again. the role playing was so shit that it has no replay value
Kill 'em all obviously.
What's not shit role playing then?
Are you upset that the game wasn't a bloated choose your own adventure book like NV?
Have you ever played a real table top role playing game? Most of it is going through dungeons and exploring and occasionally finding weird unique locations with their own self contained story.
Which is literally what Fallout 3 does
decide to do a evil karma run. blow up megaton. feel shitty and regret it. reload and play the same goody 2 shoes as fucking always.
>install fallout 4 instead
>install sex mods/animations
>install raider start mod
>roleplay as raider
>rape everything in sight with my roaming raider rape squad
>kill entire towns except for the women
>keep a few males alive to watch
>bonus if they are married lore wise
>there's some based modders out there who are working on Fallout 4: New Vegas
Imagine fixing a developers game for FREE
>T. played through the main quest and the power of the atom and decided the game was shit
I could judge all of NV by the one quest where you go and talk to one dude and the quest ends and all of you rightfully think of that as cherry picking.
But people do the same shit with Fo3
>he doesn't know about their patreon
Run to paradise falls so I can get the mesmetron.
Playing dressup with raiders, finding and decorating alternative player housings was the most fun I could do in fallout 3.
Now do the main quest.
nah dude i have 90 hours in fallout 3, did all the side quests and dlc
i just prefer new vegas, get over it
mod myself into having big tit and horse cock
if you use power armor in fallout 4 you a bitch
>it has da dungeons and da weird places so it good hue hue
Alt+F4
>implying d&d isnt a bloated cyoa
there is no choice in fallout 3, you just and watch/experience the little self contained microstory at each (and every) location, then you move on and nothing you did matters. no video game can ever come close to roleplaying as well as tabletop obviously, but fallout 3 doesnt even try
I've replayed 3 five times and New Vegas once.
I could make the same shitpost with New Vegas buddy.
>It has da quests and da quests so it gooda hu hu hu
Is this shit everyone gonna come out? Feel like I've been hearing about it for 5 years now
It loses its charm once you compare it to 1, 2, and NV. 3 was my first Fallout game and I had an absolute blast playing it, but I have no desire to go back after playing the other games.
Nah it's the same game. An expansion pack.
I fucking can't wait for Fallout 4: New Vegas so I can finally have some fucking shadows in the Mojave, along with the slightly tighter controls and gunplay of FO4.
Shame they're only doing the base game and not the DLCs. I can only hope that they work on them after, and hopefully it's quicker since each is much smaller than the base game.
Because NV was better so of course that meant 3 was suddenly a pile of shit.
Maybe for you.
Fallout > Fallout 3 > Fallout 2 > New Vegas
Official rankings. Do not (you)
all these bethesda port mods are so stupid, like theyre porting a 10+ year old game into a 9 year old game's engine, what the fuck even is the point?
because they think they're cool for hating FO3
anyways, I go to the Outcast Outpost
uninstall because i can't get it to launch
Alright, I'll redirect. What's so bloated about New Vegas' choices? The Yes Man and House endings are similar quest wise, and all routes have the same sort of setup. So what's convoluted about it?
i dont even think fallout 3 has as many "dungeons" as new vegas
Probably not. Name me one Bethesda game that modders have fully and successfully recreated/ported to a future title that doesn't run on the exact same base like FO3 and NV.
@500299132
>3 above 2
Come on man.
1. it has a stupid aesthetic that makes no goddamn sense
2. there is no 2
Enjoy the game because its a good game and i’m not some retard who has to prove his gamer cred by disliking something.
I've only ever played fo3 and even I can tell you're asking for (you)s
fallout 4 still looks and plays good today. plus there's tons of mods that make it look and play even better
There's several ways to complete the objectives on those charts that aren't shown for some reason
I regrettably have to play both Zeta and Anchorage because they have a lot of gear I like to have. I forgot about the DLC for this game till you mentioned it. God, Point Lookout was so good. I like the Pitt, and Steel is only good for the level cap raise.
Imagine ever donating to a patreon
>fallout 4 still looks and plays good today
dude it looked and played outdated on day 1, youve got to be joking
posting a classic
Be the only person in the entire game to plant crops.
criticism towards fallout 3 is usually pointed towards its writing quality and main plot, not quest design.
NV>3>1>4>2>>
go for hunting rifle behind school
swim to rivet city for minmaxed 9 into 10 bobblehead intelligence, don't talk to anyone for stupid plot quest
then republic of dave for best everyday gun in the game
FO3.exe has stopped working
i think it looks pretty good and plays well. with mods of course.
what do they eat?
The alien disintegrator turns the game into EZ mode. As if it wasn't easy enough already
added bonus
>swim to rivet city
>collect BIG RADS
>start moira's quest and wipe them all away
Why would I play an inferior game?
3 was a tech demo. Proof of concept at best.
NV was a game.
>capping your own post
>being unable to refute anything
How come no one who blindly hates fallout 3 has been able to refute this video?
FO3 is pretty stupid and illogical world-wise, but the map is not a little go-kart track circuit. In a game where the only redeeming value is exploring, 3 destroys New Vegas in terms of content, map size, mystery, and just generally endless gameplay.
New Vegas has to break it up into bit-size checkpoint checkpoint checkpoint miniquest instead of shitshow "here's a game that we made."
I want my sandbox without a babysitter and full of broken toys.
Fallout NV could have just been DLC for FO3 and you fucking know it.
Fo3 ironically had more fun and rewarding exploring then fo4 did, I mean 4's best quest was the robot pirate ship thing while most were just go here and shoot the dudes from what i remember. fo3's quest where on average not amazing but still way more interesting and fleshed out then 4. 4 did copy pasta new vegas and did have kinda fleshed out factions which was nice.
i refute that video by pointing out that the author of the video himself likes new vegas more
The DLCs are much smaller than the base game but they have so many DLC-specific mechanics that it would probably be harder to implement them than it seems. Only Honest Hearts would likely be easy to implement. I wish they would at least make the DLC gear available though, some of the nicest gear is from HH/LR
I would if you made a single point.
I liked Fallout 3s beginning a lot more than anything else.
>Because NV was better
But it wasn't better. Quantity does not equal quality, and slightly less worse dialogue is highly unimportant. Fallout 3 has better level design, world building, pacing, better music, better atmosphere, is significantly more difficult, stats actually matter, ammo is actually scarce, quests are more densely packed and more time was spent on them, more interesting set pieces rather than 900 desert shacks and the occasional production factory with robots or ghouls in it, you actually get to fight super mutants instead of every single enemy being a human that drops a shitload of caps, weapons, ammo, armor, sunset sarspirilla so that you never ever need to explore to arm and equip yourself, enemies on the hardest difficulty don't die in two hits, the story doesn't stop being compelling three hours into the game once you kill Benny, there's not millions of invisible walls literally everywhere, jumping isn't glitchy, you can actually scroll out the camera further than gears of war distance away.
But hey, New Vegas has iron sights and you can pick hollow point or armor piercing ammo for your gun in your desert walking simulator.
Because I'm not about to watch a 2 hour long video that doesn't validate my pre-existing opinions
Make my way to the train station in D.C to travel to Nevada, as I have the Tales of Two Wasteland mod.
Because New Vegas with actually decent gunplay would be the GOAT
(you)
here's one: you're gay
fucking rekt
fo3 was best played like an exploration sandbox game.
new vegas is best played staying on that go cart track, because my m8 had the same problem if you try and play new vegas like fo3 and just explore your going to have a bad time because there isn't much to explore.
If you think Fallout 3 and NV are at all similar you have an astonishingly surface level grasp of what actually constitutes the gameplay.
Blackjack and poker are both played using the same cards, it doesn't make them the same game.
said noone ever
i know right its the ultimate check mate
>MUH ATMOSPHERE
based, if I must be honest
>implying there's a hard mode in Bethesad games
I uninstall the game.
New Vegas has no babysitter, just git gud
Most of what you said is wrong, but
>the story doesn't stop being compelling three hours into the game
is correct, since the story is never compelling to begin with.
I liked the atmosphere of new vegas and just chillin playin cards.
Looking for controller recommendations other than Xbox One controllers. Nowhere has them in stock until fucking April.
I like Fallout 4. The game is solid except for the shitty main story
>Most of what you said is wrong
"I don't have a rebuttal but because you know your opinion isn't popular here you're crazy to try and make correct points, therefore I will dismiss you."
I agree with most of your points except
> ammo is actually scarce
I think it's about the same, NV feels like ammo is scarcer but FO3 has much more shared ammunition types between guns, feels much scarcer in NV if you have one main firearm.
>quests are more densely packed
Don't think so.
>more time was spent on them
Feels like it.
Also, FO3 NEEDS iron sights modded in, makes it superb, along with NO AUTO-AIM ASSIST. The greater depth of mechanics with damage threshold and ammo types is a point in NV's favor, but mods exist sure enough.
I agree one thousand times about BENNY.
buy USA and help prevent a recession
only you can save the economy by buying an xbox one™ controller today
>go to Megaton
>sell/trade all the valuable shit I hoarded from Vault 101
>buy a nice little house
>fuck hookers and drink for the rest of my days
>occasionally I'll help Moira out with some of her wacky shit if I'm bored
Comfy life bros
>If you try to play an open world game that's strength is exploring by exploring you have a bad time
This is one reason why NV has the permanent sour taste in my mouth.
I think a lot of the people loving NV over 3 just like the additional polish that was grifted from Fallout3 mods.
Don't put words in my mouth, sir
WELL HOWDY PARTNER
YOU LOOK BETTER AFTER I DUG YOU UP HYUCK HYUCK
4 is a straight upgrade to 3, it really feels like the systems got polished and everything got jacked up in production value. It's a shame the factions were a little primitive
Imagine paying for a game you paid for to get fixed by a third party.
Well you don't seem to have any of your own so I compensated for you.
>no uninstall
Quit game.
Start up any other fallout outside 76 or BoS. Even fucking shelter would be better.
>one conversation with Victor = babysitter
Fallout 3's opening vault sequence is an hour long babysitting session, you're talking out of your ass
settlement building is comfy with some mods. wish you could invite your friends to visit it though.
fallout 4 should have had a co-op mode. just 2 people roaming around and once you're done the other person just picks up wherever he was into their own world.
Who the fuck says there's no exploring in new Vegas? If you just ride the railroad to Vegas then do the main quest you're going to miss 90% of the game
New Vegas is too empty. It’s a vast desert full of nothing. At least in the Capitol wasteland there’s something new to explore every twenty feet.
not saying I did I'm just saying the retard doesn't know the $$$ they make from donations. lol thinking it's free
