It always feels like making games just following the mains story are a fucking waste of time, the setting is already all layed out for you to use, why not try to make an alternate story with an OC character? You could even bring the mangaka to create a canon side story to make the world and lore of the series in general more deep.

Not to mention the manga art is kind of shitty. The author is in love with his own brand of retard comedy which involves drawings that are worse than usual. He is shitting on his own work with those horse shit. The anime studio did a great job with the visual and the feel, but those dumb comedy are really ruining their great work, they need learn to disrespect the author and say no to stupid goofy crap that ruins the feel of the show.

The kenshin OVA cut out the goofy comedy shit and they have a much better feel compare to the TV series and manga.

One of the biggest reasons I like the anime is due to how fucking amazing the slicing sounds are. It's like you can feel him cleave through flesh. I didn't think a show could pull off that level of satisfying. I thought it was limited to video games.
