I found nothing but frustration being forced into those shitty mech levels. Moving at the speed of a snail while spamming the attack button as you do some clunky platforming was so awful to do after being in a speed stage.
Treasure hunting was also awful to do after speed stages but at least they don't get to be too shit until the later stages where the maps far too big.
Being forced to play them made me quit the true end because I just couldn't fucking stand them anymore.
