CHOOSE YOUR CHARACTER
>the perfect fanservice game doesn't exis-
>grinded my ass off in the Wii U version
>can't find the motivation to buy the Switch version
How fun are the new characters?
Groose
Old man in a cave from the original
Uncle from aLttP
Shopkeeper from Link's Awakening
Saria from OoT
Link's masked forms from MM
Naryu and Din from the Oracle games
Vaati from Minish Cap
Just the thought of doing the rupee glitch one more time fills me with deep dread
>new characters
there are none, it's just wii u and 3ds merged
you forgot the most important character
Most of them are boring to play or incredibly weak. Similar to playing baton zelda or as fi. Young link, female link, skull kid, and the painting faggot are all okay to play as while the rest are not very good. Having the dlc characters show up to fight and a few new maps helps out feel a bit better to play though.
>Fi
>Boring
You don't know how to properly play Fi. We've gone over this, she's one of the best waveclearers when her moveset is used efficiently. Just dance over your opponents gracefully bro.
I never played as anything the 3DS introduced but I liked playing as Fi a lot.
>perfect fanservice
It doesn't even have Vaati.
I think that's gone, but they did drastically lower the level requirements, I managed to finish all the Adventure maps with levels in the 60s, except for Link who's about 80s.
>Any officer that doesn't have a weakness to Light shows up
>Imprisoned fort happens
No thanks.
>Similar to playing baton zelda
I quite enjoyed making mega-tornadoes
>Fucking Ravio got in but not linebeck or groose
As an aside, what the hell is 'weak' in a musou game?
I thought the default was 'hilariously overpowered' and it just went up from there.
Medli
>knock it out of the park with Zelda
>shit this out for FE
What the fuck happened
Groose, Linebeck, and Vaati not being in is really puzzling.
There's some characters centered around a gimmick that isn't fun to do and perform worse than other characters on top of it. Some of the DLC characters also have really long 10-15 second animations on their best attacks which gets annoying to watch. Or characters that are just other character but worse, toon link with sword comes to mind as he's just slower link with worse range to give an example.
You can define weak by looking at what's strong and going backwards. For example, characters like Young Link and Twili Midna are a hurricane of death with extreme range and speed, along with enormous waveclear and boss killing potential. On the other end of the spectrum, characters like Great Fairy and Tingle are not just boring to play, they're slow and weak. You can't dodge cancel out of attacks, they're left animation locked for an eternity, they can't kill bosses properly, and even their best moves are worse than the weakest moves of most other characters.
FE has smash
I think Vaati was left out because of bad blood between koei tecmo and capcom
Why'd they stick Yuga and the level 2, 3 and 4 weapons of the Legends character so deep into adventure mode? I'm nearly a hundred hours in and I don't have Yuga yet, and there's no point at all to the first Master Sword seal when you might as well just grab all the 4+ weapons for the same amount of effort and clear the second seal too.
Why do they have bad blood between them?
castlevania warriors when
>Absolutely nothing from BOTW
Funny how the game became completely dated in just a few years.
>10 empty slots when there were only 9 DLC characters
Anyway the mistake was not doing fan favourites, or well known chars from smash, and not basing it on interesting styles. (8 Fates royals in, half of them are clones of each other, and another one is a clone of 2 already existing characters
Capcom sued Koei because Koei used an expansion pass, and Capcom said they'd patented it
It only had the costumes. For BOTW stuff they would have to kept making DLC for a game that is already like 6 years old. It's probably not worth it at this point
I'm On koholint adventure map right now. Good thing they added the item shop. Also you can skip half the adventure maps and go right after the best weapons.
There are still some hard maps limited to one shitty characters, but no one near the level that was the wii u versiĆ³n. Also, lvl 40-50 its usually enough to those hard maps
Apparently it's exceeded sales expectations everytime they released it (on WiiU, 3ds, and Switch)
That being said, I just want HW2. I don't want to grind through HW1 again
Young Link if fucking broken once you upgrade his magic meter to the max.
You go on a rampage chain with the deity mask until there are no more enemies to kill.
Fun as fuck.
the game was shite though, such a cash in...
It blows my mind they still haven't announced Hyrule Warriors 2. You'd think they would after a money pit DW9 turned out to be.
It does my heart for there to be a Zelda game with a playable Tetra
These are solely based on my opinions, nothing objective
I really want a Dynasty Warriors set in Middle Earth.
Don't tell me this wouldn't be hype as hell. It's a perfect match.
Botw dlc
why the fuck do people like Toon Link's Sand Rod??
IT'S THE FUCKING WORST WEAPON IN THE GAME
Because trains
Twinrova
Nabooru
Four Champions
Ganon
King Harikinian
No, this is how you break Young Link
That's how you break the game.
Twili Midna broke it first.
She's the one character I can't decide which skills to use on because I like all of her attacks so much except for Strength 2
I only played the Wii U version much, but I had the most fun with Volga and Wizzro. Linkle is hilariously overpowered, though.
I was in the same position but the Switch version is rebalanced and has enough new shit to be worth it
If it's not for true from Midna, then it would definitely be Cia.
>Had the most fun
>With Wizzro
It's amazing how much better they made true form Midna than imp.
The people making it clearly didn't give a shit about Fire Emblem and just pandered to the fateswakening crowd.
Midna, Midna, Midna, and Midna.
>The fanservice only got good with the last three DLC characters
Skull Kid, Tingle and Tetra should be the bare minimum, not the extras. Lana and Linkle are blemishes on an otherwise barely decent roster.
that fucking ganon level where you can't let lana escape
why are my allies so useless
I remember being so angry at the base roster but Legends really fixed it up
>that fucking ganon level where you can't let lana escape
This is diffocult?
it's difficult when she splits into three and it's near impossible to kill all three yourself, but your allies are useless and let her get away so you can't rely on them
But the thing is you're playing as Ganondorf who can murder them easily. I guess he's not one of your mains
it is a lot quicker and more forgiving to grind user, all in all a better experience
maybe they made it better on the switch version, but I'm using the 3DS one
Okay, I wouldn't be able to comment on that but I never had trouble on either the Wii U or Switch
>musou
Best part was you didn't have to get the 3DS game to get the new characters and I definitely wasn't buying the Switch game for two shitty costumes.
>I definitely wasn't buying the Switch game for two shitty costumes.
The reason to get the Switch version is all of the new maps, multi-element weapons, and all around superior performance
I want to hug_ Link
Adventure Mode is rejiggered enough to make it worth playing again, and the new story stuff is fun too. The new characters and maps are way better integrated too.
>No, this is how you break Young Link
I think some people are into that sort of thing.
I was expecting this reply and looking forward to it
Is good
I never did buy the Wii U version so I still have to buy the Switch version actually.
this is the weirdest ranking I've ever seen
These games dont look fun
Fight 20 enemies at once that all get stunlocked by your basic combo that has massive range
WW has my favorite cast of characters of any Zelda so I like all of them by default while Ganondorf, Twili Midna,Young Link, Skull Kid, and Marin, all of ridiculously fun movesets. Simple as that
You haven't seen my ranking yet
