Bump for interest, I don't want to buy an Xbone just for Forza

pm'd you

iRacing

the last few forza games are on PC though

Driveclub or Gran Turismo Sport

NFS Underground 2

>pc
>racing
>active online

Yas Forums only plays gay ass arcade racing games.

dumbass

>implying nords trackday servers and discord invite locked servers counts as a game being active

unironically iRacing

drifting in assetto corsa

God, it's disgusting the way SSR just pops in like that.

>about to ram into a bunch of cars like an idiot
>pause the game instead and pretend like you're showing off gwaffix

GT Sport on ps4, Forza Horizon 4 on pc

>heard the Lexus LFA is back in FH4
>it's a seasonal award that ended months ago
>mfw

No thanks.

If you like rally, Dirt Rally 2.0 is amazing.

Driveclub is average as fuck and it does not look good. It only looks good when everything is obscured by a bunch of weather effects also
>30FPS racing game
How about no even GT Sport didn't fuck that up.

I'd never recommend iRacing to anyone. Nothing comes close as a competitive sim, but they know this and rape your wallet at every possible step. It costs something like $200 to play a full season in one league.

Asphalt 9

I just want a game where I can cruise around in an open world. Test Drive Unlimited 3 when?

play any forza horizon

any forza horizon, dumbass

>always online bullshit
>DLC galore because dirt rally fangirls begged for it non-stop

FH4 is your game my friend

Forza Horizon 3/4 or The Crew 1/2.

Alternatively Assetto Corsa + Free Roam maps.

>cruise around
Enjoy getting bored after 2 seconds

Every racing game that has an emphasis on graphics is always boring as fuck and will never be more fun than arcades like nfsu2. Prove me wrong.

Then just buy DR 1 and enjoy a basically as good game without those issues, but a slightly more dead online scene.

Dirt rally is too buggy
>hold throttle over small crest, car does a wheelie in the air
>hit brakes as you go airborne, car's nose dives while airborne
You can't even go full throttle because you spend too much time trying to avoid bugs.

The fuck? I literally never experienced that.

FH3, FH4 and Motorsport 7 are all on PC.

F1 2019

>every road is 10 miles wide
Goddammit, Playground.

Forza Horizon 4 is crazy active rn because all the kids staying at home atm, not hard to find any type of online session

I like sims and setting lap times around courses but I don't follow Motorsports and hate how boring all the tracks are. Are there any games with sim mechanics that aren't incredibly dry? Drive club looked pretty cool for this reason but i never played it.

>Are there any games with sim mechanics that aren't incredibly dry?
No

Took me a while to understand it or what caused it and the different behaviors, but the main problem that comes from that stuff is when you land and you lose control because the front/back is bouncing then you fly off the track. There are other bugs with it too, but that's the most prevalent one that comes to mind.

>JewRacing

More like the Chad Wreckfester.

borings tracks produce exciting racing
fun tracks often produce boring racing
doesn't help that simdads jerk off over the same 4-5 classic circuits like spa, monza, brands hatch (lmao), circuit de la sarthe, laguna seca, etc...
if you want to try some very technical tracks try the F1 games or mod the F1 tracks in Assetto Corsa
circuits like Baku, Singapore, Monaco and such are boring to watch but very fun to drive

Circuit de la Sarthe was fun in GRID with its 24 minutes of Le Mans and arcade handling.

>but I don't follow Motorsports and hate how boring all the tracks are.
Follow different race series, then. All the biggest name stuff- F1, NASCAR, what have you- tends to be pretty boring and predictable. Most endurance series are good, rally is always fun, BTCC is good, and the Aussies have some neat stuff like Touring Car Masters now that formerly-V8 Supercars is basically dead.

I know that corner

I like simple track layouts, its the feeling of driving around continuous abandoned airfields that's off putting.

I love the Germany stages, they are very memorable.

Driveclub servers were shut down, GT is boring.

FH4 is a cashgrab that succeded only because there is no game in its market share

Literally Forza Horizon, don't bother with The Crew it's a soulless ripoff

forza 4 on xbox 360 looks better than this

Attached: 1580981219150.png (640x360, 186.43K)

Just 7 actually unless you mean that casual horizon shite.

no game will ever capture the atmosphere of Gran Turismo 1

please tell me someone understands this obscure feel

based vroomer

I fucking despise this meme format. Fuck redditor tourists for bringing this shit along, fuck anyone dumb enough to fucking fall for it. Fuck you for posting it.

didn't ask

forza horizon 4

didnt play the crew 2 but the crew 1 has more soul than FH4
