I'm in the $100-$200 bracket. Had a PS3 so didn't pay that gen but with PS4 I've ot a year subscription once and the odd month here or there. I think the worst part of it is I can't just jump into a multiplayer game and go like the old days I have to think wether or not I have PS+ and if it's worth it for whatever game I'm playing at said time

Watch Dogs 2 and Divinity OS2 were two of the very few games from this gen worth it

I have only payed for 2 years of Playstation Plus. I had a PS3 rather than a 360 so online play was free for me that gen. I also haven’t paid for Nintendo’s online services since I prefer to play shit like Mario Kart and Smash locally rather than online. Most of the PS4 games I play are offline single player games so I haven’t needed PS Plus constantly. The main games I got it for were Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3. I also played a lot of random games like Dead by Daylight that my friends wanted to try out. I only played them because they were free on PS Plus and I had it anyway though, I wouldn’t have bought it for them. For the majority of the time I’ve had my PS4 though I didn’t have a PS Plus subscription.

The only time I saw cheaters was in like the first 30 matches. (first week) because my trust raiting wasn't built up. After that maximum 1/month. Which is probably less than the cheaters on console which play with M+KB and rekk everyone

I use to play online all the time, it's a great time burner, but the last console I bought was the Ps3, since my Ps3 died I've been waiting for Sony to release a console with backwards compatibility so I finally have a way to play the stack of Ps3 games I have that have been collecting dust since it broke. With the Ps5 they had the chance to change their stance, but what did we get backwards compatibility with the Ps4, who gives a shit about that. I've since given up with consoles and the final nail in the coffin is having to pay a subscription for online, I have just begun re-buying games I liked on Steam, I'm not spending anymore time getting fucked by greedy retarded console manufacturers.

Is that hard to buy a PS3 nowadays? I honestly doubt the PS5 will be backwards compatible with ps3. they promised 100 titles at launch, but those were ps4 titles.

You can't buy new Ps3's anymore only refurbished and I had two and in both the disc drives failed to read discs, I replaced the disc drive in one which then still continued to fail with other problems.

I wish Sony would just build a second console that does backwards compatibility for the previous no longer supported generations, I'd happily pay a premium price for a console that just plays Ps3, Ps2 and Ps1 games. If I wanted to play Ps5 or 4 games I'd just by the latest console.
