>Love Nioh
>Buy Nioh 2
>Beat the first level after around 2 hours of fucking up
>So far loving it
>Remember there was a mini boss I had to run past at the start of the first stage
>Go back in to fight him with my new found skills
>Job repeatedly
This game is fun as hell. I’m sure I’ll figure out how to defeat the first mini bosses charge attack sooner or later.
Love Nioh

I FUCKING HATE THESE MISSION WHERE YOU DIE MORE FROM DROWNING THAN FROM OF THE ACTUAL ENNEMIES
HOT FUCKING GARBAGE
Which set does offer good attack and def?
>be a nigh immortal half-demon warrior that have mastered the art of slaying with myriad of weaponry
>slip into a pond and fucking die
>can beat godlike demons
>cant get pasta wooden fence and needs to find a way around
Almost nobody knew how to swim back then and you do have a shit ton of steel on you
Probably been asked many times but does anyone know what the fuck is the timing for parries? I swear to god the parry frames are smaller than in Nioh 1 because before you could just tap L1 before the attack hits and it would work. Someone say that its somewhere after your guarding animation ends but after hundred attempts I only got it to work twice and I still can’t grasp the timing on it.
Any tips for this? I’m trying with Hatchets and Tonfas btw.
You have to do it super early in 2, if you try to parry like you did in 1 it won’t work.
>that kashin koji fight
>Can't get past the first real boss in Nioh
Great game
Before the attack hits is too late. Do it earlier, you need to see your parry animation happen before the enemy attack lands
>side mission where you have to break these wooden gates to get to another area
>they look exactly the same as the unbreakable wooden gates in every other mission
Shit like that drives me up the fucking wall, I was running around the level for an hour.
How does the NG+ work on this game? I might be close to finishing the story already but I still haven't done any side quests yet. Can I still do them after the final boss?
Just summon a buddy, it's what I do (feel free to call me a scrub, I don't really play the game for the bossfights)
I was stuck at shibata katsui because no summon showed up. Only one guy that died at 95% so i had to win myself after like 40 wipes
Yea summons seem to take a heck of a long time to appear in this game for me, but I just spend the time killing phantoms or grinding sentience to hear all my weapons have to say.
Do you have to clear a region and the submission to unlock a new one in NG+ ? i did all the main story mission of the first two region and i still dont have unlocked the 3rd
I don't want to play with people
Ng+ requires you to fill a meter in the bottom right of the map to progress by doing any of the missions once. It's better to focus on sidequests first since they are faster to unlock progress
thank you i didnt notice
>he didnt fuck up gozuki at the very start with no elixirs or skills
i shiggy diggy
Not him but how does the gear work in NG+? Should I rush to the sixth region to get the best gear or does that drop right from the first region?
>Holy shit, are these bosses really this hard or am I retarded
>Friend just breezes through everything
>'YOU ARE FAT ROLLING BRO'
>Realize the weight has different levels and even if not even close to the weight cap, yellow is GET FUCKED mode
>Change gloves to get the weight on green
>mfw
Now imagine wearing the FATTEST armor and still being able to be in the green, this can be you too user, but only if you join the strength chad club. You will be surrounded by axe-bros and odachi-bros flexing these big armors and toughness numbers right in your face, laughing at all these armorlets fags. Come one, embrace the strength
NG+ gears are all lvl 160 except a few rare 170s that will be everywhere on NG++ once the DLC is released. Instead gear works on a + system that increases when you soul match gear to an equivalent or higher + value. So once you start finding + values then you can take the game at your own pace. Also all items are available as drops.
Is melee damage vs poisoned actually a legit strategy or are a bunch of bosses immune/resistant to poison?
Barely anything resists poison. Pick up poison shuriken that will poison in 1 to 2 hits most of the time then get two accessories with poison vs melee and the snake soul for 70% extra damage against poison
>tfw all thats left for me to do is autistically grind out titles and get all my armor to +10
>Nioh 1 first DLC took 3 months to release
>i'll probably have coronavirus by then
Basically all heavy armour and heavy weapon of your choice.
Axe and Odachi are both godly and get good moves from boss drops.
Become the juggernaut
can you find divine with + already at the start of ng+?
Imagine being a braindead unga bunga heavy armor pussy and not a C toughness agility Chad.
Yeah you can do the missions after you beat them and side missions are always open, NG+ can be entered and left at any time by simply pressing square on the country map menu.
I think so, anyway plus values don't change much, best item i found at final boss is only a +5, so don't worry about it to much.
How much poison accumulation do you think is necessary? Right now I have it on both my accessories and my weapons along with the clan and snake guardian spirit
PC master lost on this one
The Brother's Blades (Shadow sub mission) is where everybody is farming revenants.
I found a couple of inheritable attack gloves and some inheritable A- stat damage bonuses there.
>join someone's game
>walk 1 meter
>drowned
Forgot to mention that it's on NG+
Should I bother with Nioh 1 NG+ or move on to 2?
Also is switchglaive actually good? I tried it in the last trial and it was fun
Once in NG+ are you lock to ng+ coop ?
I'd play nioh 2 instead
If you've beaten the DLC for Nioh 1 just move on to 2.
The switchglaive is alright, people get some real mileage out of it and it has a bunch of good weapons, since it scales with magic people are able to make some beefy magic builds too.
No, you can still help people that are playing on the default difficulty, unless you are playing in Dream of the Strong in which case you can only be helped by those on NG+ too.
Is it just accessories that can have that mod? And at what level do you start to see it? I am also running a poison kura build, currently at about level 70, and I have yet to see damage on poisoned mod.
>need to use dual kat to unlock bomber man sub mission
Japan is a fucking island, people absolutely knew how to swim.
Hell, in 1603 Emperor Go-Yozei declared that schoolchildren should swim.
>Japan is a fucking island
It's also quite a big island and not all areas border the sea
>1603
And how many non aristocratic children at that time went to school?
You can temper accessories, I have a level 18 accessory that I tempered it on to so I don’t think it is level gated
Just to add, there's a helmet with melee damage against poison enemies, so you can get 85% total. I think dung man can give you the text for it.
The only problem with this build is that when yokai bosses enter and exit dark realm, they cancel all buffs, so if you use a high ki damage weapon like tonfa, it can get annoying to reapply poison every 15 sec
I can't figure out what gives me health on amrita absorption, even naked no guardian spirit I have that on my stat page.
Can you turn armour pieces invisible?
Thanks
Are you in the Toyotomi clan?
Bros why couldn't we save Nobunaga
yes switchglaive is good
Yes, thanks. I remebered it gave extra amrita but forgot it had a secondary bonus.
William drops a fuck load of texts. Like 2 of every weapon and 5 armor sets.
gotten 100k+ glory from ppl using my revenants
i mean it's alright but it's basically nioh 1.5. they reuse pretty much every asset from the first game. half of the enemies are even the same. at least they added some new ones this time though so there's more than 7 enemies in the game.
seriously though i can't stand the fucking loot system. if you're going to have every fucking enemy drop tons of loot make storage unlimited. i'm so fucking sick of being in the middle of the level and getting an "inventory full" prompt when i try to pick up something that dropped and then having to go to a shrine to donate dozens of items to the fucking kodama. it's hours of time spent on this shit when i could be playing the game.
