RE4 was so fucking fun on Wii. I hated shooters growing up because I didn't like controller aiming, that port changed my life.

The Resident Evil Revelations ports on Switch have gyro aiming for a similar feel.
I think 5 has it too, but I didn't buy it. I know for a fact 4 on Switch does not.

>red steel 2
good stuff

I don't know why consoles are so resistant to gyro aiming, it feels great. Not too far off from mouse and keyboard, and certainly the best application of motion controls outside of meme shovelware.

GOD DAMN IT RED STEEL 2 WAS SO FUCKING GOD DAMNED GOOD AND THE BEST USE OF WII MOTE PLUS SINCE WII SPORTS RESORTS SWORD SHIT. FUCK ME I WISH THAT SERIES HAD BETTER SUCCESS

The only one I liked was a game about being a surgeon. maybe it was called Trauma Center 2 or 4 or some shit.

Not even a fucking contest.
youtu.be/q-V8htEtAYI

TRAVIS ITS KILL OR BE KILLED

>trauma center: second opinion

FUUUUUUUUCCCCCKKKK even as a remake of a fucking DS game that shit was phenomenal

not even a fucking contest

S&P2 is still one of the greatest action games ever made and also one of the most underrated.

Fuck I just want a re-release so badly. Also a third game and an HD remaster of S&P1.

My man.

Why haven't you hacked your Wii? It's ez.
wii.guide/

>Hacked my old as shit Wii with USBLoaderGX
>Bought a usb stick with a big-ass amount of storage
>Downloaded as many gamecube and wii games as I could fit
Seriously. Do it. Hacking it is so stupidly easy.

conduit games were good

The Wii was my favorite system. I wish I didn't sell it. :/

Just go to a pawnshop or game store, they're usually stupidly cheap.

>NMH2 over NMH1
>No Trauma Center
Largely agree. DS/Wii had a lot of gems. Really disappointed every gets hyped for downgraded ports of Doom and The Switcher 3 and shit for Switch.

5 does has Move support with the PS3 Gold version. Worth it. Wished for so long Dead Space would have implemented it.

I can't get out. They've stopped the busses because of this goddamn virus.

Move over you two

It's not a comprehensive list

Attached: 1575479126966.png (1200x3600, 2.54M)

There's a lot of good shit there.

have you ever just

Attached: 1555370012663.png (520x353, 104.93K)

>Finally get another motion plus dongle to finish Red Steel 2
>Realize I have forgotten most of the moves and the game doesn't list the inputs or let your replay the tutorials
>Also Shinjiro how do I kill you on regular difficulty

Am I missing something?

The funny thing about the Wii discussions back in the day is that the answer was always somewhere in the middle. There are a lot of Wii games that only got noticed for being in the small post-SNES Nintendo pond, absolutely, but there are a lot of actual gems to if you just wanted something different from the newest PS360 AAA blockbluster. Obviously the those two had their own games of that sort, but it isn't either or. You could argue it was better than the Gamecube, if you're eclectic enough.

I have a soft spot for chop til you drop, even if it's inferior to the regular DR.

Replaying Twilight Princess at the moment:
Anyone know why it sounds like my speakers are dying a horrible crackly death anytime I chop an enemy with the sword?

Attached: DgtIxeMUYAAatKO.jpg (1054x693, 181.68K)

Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars and Super Mario Galaxy are my favorite games from the console.

wii has better exclusives (1st and 3rd party) but gcn has better multiplats overall due to no waggle and no hardware gap

that game uses the RE4 Wii engine, right? that sounds really cool

>end of the Wii life cycle
>see Red Steel with the WM+ for 20 bucks
>I'll grab it later
>forget about it and get home
>return on a later date
>fucking gone
Same shit happened with Metroid Prime Collection holy shit, fuck.

your wiimote speaker or your tv? sounds like hardware failure. try jiggling the cords or if its your wiimote test a different one.
btw are you playing Twilight Princess with any gecko codes? i plan on replaying soon and I have a hard mode codeset lined up: 6x damage, 0.5x rupees, instant wolf switching. I always found TP way too easy

Actually, sorry, I should have specified I'm playing the GameCube version (on my physical Gamecube).
I think maybe the GC's signal output is too high for my bookshelf speakers, but I'm not an audio whiz to confirm 100%.

I really liked the resident evil railshooter games

why are the wii motion plus addons so expensive?

I actually just got mine at Gamestop in person for $12~, I would give that a shot.

nice, did you get the addon or the built in controller? Unfortunately I'm a bit far from gamestop

Just the add-on, the particular store I was in didn't have any remote+'s, which is probably the better deal but I just needed the thing.

S&P was the best 7th generation game. One of the best games Treasure made.

thats still pretty good. I bought my wii at goodwill for 20 bucks, it came with a wii motion plus controller but that turned out to be broken

I have a deluded hope Switch will he the era of 3's
>Bayonetta 3
>No More Heroes III
>the revived canceled game is Megaman Legends 3 since MT Framework os fine on Switch
>S&P3

>Own over 20 games for the Wii
>Spend 90% of my time with the console playing F-Zero X and watching the Kirby anime.
That said, Ghost Squad, Sky Crawlers and Mad World were the shit.

Yes, it's literally a modded version of RE4 with classic zombies, expanded melee and NPCs to interact with. It's fine in its own right even if it's rough around the edges and not the same as the original.

>watching the kirby anime
unfathomably based

Attached: tripleD.gif (500x281, 2.21M)

>S&P1 remaster
>no more shitty looking models and voice acting
>motherfucking remixes or Agave, Blood Infactor, etc
Would be kino

Attached: 1425458539106.jpg (1632x883, 1.26M)

AND THAT'S WHY YOU'RE STILL A KID

Attached: maxresdefault (1).jpg (1280x720, 57.53K)

>Sky Crawlers
Muh nigga

I'd just want those smooth sequel controls and a pleasant frame rate. Still a good game.

>The rocket launcher noise is now playing in your head

Yeah, the gameplay is still very fun

Pandora's tower was so fucking good bros
Waifu/Monster girl sim + Grapple Mechanics + Adventure game

This game was amazing. I didnt finish it though

vsrecommendedgames.fandom.com/wiki/Wii
heres a good list of games you might not know of

The GoldenEye remake was fun as fuck. Split screen was great, the only thing was split screen got a little hard to do with the point to aim system so I typically used the procontroller or a gamecube controller. I honestly hope they make a bond game for the switch. It looked fucking good too, for a Wii game.

Sonic and the Black Knight (I didn't much enjoy Secret Rings)
MySims Agents
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
I think the Wii shared its version of Sonic Unleashed with the PS2, but it was super fun
