I don't know. last I heard he was a permanent outside cat because he wouldnt use the litterbox anymore. Anyways he was a lovable idiot like i said so he was apparently getting beaten up by the neigborhood tomcats. likely died to some kind of infection due to that. said previous roomate has a kid that she can barely care for and only her fiance has a job so they have very little money in a shitty house in a shitty town. probably can see the picture from that.
Doesn't make me not feel like shit though. I used to get pissed off at the cat for being so lovable and wanting to rub on me all the time but jesus christ i miss him. I wish so badly I could have had the room to take care of him but my apartment is so small and I normally wouldn't have even gotten to keep my cat had she not been an Emotional Support Cat (which basically requires the apartment complex I live in to allow me to have her no matter what).

Don't user. My favorite old cat died when I was in middle school and I still feel like shit over 25 years later. My parents took her to the vet and I knew deep down that I would never see her again, but they forced me to go to class anyway. I'll always be bitter about it.

Why are cats such assholes? My friend had a cat and he kept getting beat up by cats, every time I would come back to his house he would be in worse shape. Eventually he vanished. He never found any trace of that cat to this day we don't know what happened

To this day i regret not paying to try treat my old dog when she was really sick. She was just really sick and i didn't want her to suffer anymore, by the end she was pooping pure blood and i couldn't stand to see her like that anymore. The vet told me they couldn't know if she would get better and my mom said we didn't have money to just dump into treatment that might not work.
She was really old, at least 11 which is old for a German Shepard and she wouldn't eat, drink water or get up, i keep seeing her poop and vomit blood. We keep moving her to carry her around to take her to the vet and that caused her even more pain. I think i made the right decision but still sometimes at night i get a tinge of regret and it slowly eats me up inside, i keep telling myself i made the right decision but the doubt is still there.

It helps to tell yourself that you gave your cat a long and good life. The cat that I had for over fifteen years since early childhood had a particularly painful last year of her life; and seeing her barely eat and turning into skin and bones was tough for me to cope with. I am glad it is over now and she can rest.

Post like this make me preemptively sad. My retarded ex gf got a pupper and then left after a few months. I didn't want it, but didn't have the heart to give it up.
