I like how large the island is and I think it's novel how it makes you wait to explore the rest.
I like the crafting system, but I really wish the resources would have their own menu. I have the expanded inventory and resources take up like 1/3 of it. Kinda ridiculous desu.

I don't time travel so this is still based on early impressions but I think the crafting is really tedious and its weird they only start you out with 2 villagers there is like nobody to talk to in the beginning
I have a question. I haven't played AC since like 2013 so I'm out of the loop. Does this new game have the same kind of town building as New Leaf? Most of the fun I had with that game was seeing the shops expand and building a little village. I know New Horizons takes place on an island and from a first glance the 'city building' options seem a bit scant?

1. Get Town Hall and Campsite, this should take about a week in-game
2. Weed your island and plant flowers so villagers will come to your campsite
3. After getting a villager on your island through the campsite, talk to Tom Nook to unlock Amiibo
Also note, some amiibo villagers require you to craft specific items in order to come to your island. I got Rosie to my campsite and got cucked because she wanted me to build a garden wagon with flowers I don't have anywhere on my island.
