Anyone still playing this? My opinion of this remake has only gotten better over time. I've already sunk 50+ hours into Langrisser I which alone justifies the price tag. The remake's overhauled stat/combat systems are an improvement for sure.

Had started Langrisser V after finishing IV, but dropped it, playing both back to back was tiring.
Main charater was so ridiculous, you could beat bosses two classes above with minimal savescumming.

What I love most about the remastered artstyle is that the men are appropriately dressed in functional, realistic armor (without pauldrons the size of their fucking heads for example) while the women prance around in strips of cloth showing off their titties and navels (eg Narm and Laetitiia)
