I really don't understand how FGO got so popular in particular. The character models "in game" are on the same quality as that Adventure Quest flash game that came out over a decade ago. Aside from character portraits (which I'll let somebody else be the judge of whether or not they are quality) the whole game looks like straight ass-cheeks. With all that, it still made so much fucking money. And what did they even do with it? They could have paid any Asian coding sweatshop to overhaul the entire game and make it look better over a weekend, and instead there is no improvement to Fate in ANY noticeable way. Let that be a huge lesson. Just because a thing you like was successful, does NOT mean that the devs will bring you more, or make it better.

The point of it is not to just collect pngs, but to collect the characters themselves. When you get the girl you spent money on in the game it's a feeling that SHE belongs to YOU. Just having a png file isnt the same as owning it officially. This is why people spend money on these things instead of just downloading the pictures.

I have not seen a hacked apk with premium currency in many many years. Most of them are just god mode to cheese the pve (or pvp if you want to get banned)
