I unironically bought a beretta 92fs as my first firearm because of resident evil, even though I liked the CZ 75 better

How much per round?

Resident Space

3-5 cents per round is typical

way ahead of you

G19 Gen5 was my first gun I bought. Got a Beretta 92FS because it was what I actually wanted, because of Die Hard. Got the glock initially because it was about 600 bucks, I had no guns at the time, and while I had experience from my dad teaching me six shooters, lever guns and military style semi autos, I never got the chance to handle an autoloader pistol. They're really, really fun.

Oh yeah, and it's always cool and at least increases my fun by 25% when a gun i actually have shows up in a game.

Holy shit. No wonder murricans are obsessed with guns. I always thought it would be like $1 per round or so.

.22lr is like the cheapest possible ammo. it's also pretty piddly although it can still kill someone

forgot picture. I also got a C308. Heard good and bad things about them, happened to see one at a pawnshop for sale, brand new. Knowing Century's rep for churning out shit i'd never order anything from them online. Physically checked the rifle out, welds weren't bad at all, the bolt face wasn't grinded down. Wasn't too bad and snagged it. It's a nice 7.62mm for the money, provided you get to physically check it out first.

What do you mean by "can still kill someone"? Isn't a headshot a guaranteed kill with anything?

Larger more expensive cartridges are still fairly cheap. You can shoot an AR15 for about 30 cents per round. .22lr is just smol and stupid cheap.

Attached: 38871-DEFAULT-l.jpg (900x600, 91.19K)

if you're too far away a .22 could lose enough kinetic energy that it couldnt penetrate the skull. closer up, it might have enough to enter but not leave so it just bounces around inside gibbing your brains

> Isn't a headshot a guaranteed kill with anything?
Guaranteed? No. Weird shit happens sometimes.
This guy got shot right in the head by an MP5 loaded with pretty well designed modern hollow points and he survived. Weird angle caused the projectile to skate around the outside of his skull under the scalp instead of punching through the bone into the brain.

shrimp makes every other gun in this thread its bitch
9x21mm is superior in every way

Attached: sr1mp.jpg (800x275, 70.26K)

.22lr might be diddily, but getting zipped with a piece of copper jacketed lead at a high velocity is not going to be fun at all regardless if it's .45ACP, 9mm, .40S&W, etc, etc. Given the .22lr's low recoile impulse, and that 30 round magazines are very available for the Ruger 10/22 rifles, you could sustain a very nastry rain of accurate pissed off hornets on a poor bastard. Pic very related if using .22

Attached: 250px-Protip.jpg (250x266, 12.59K)

the israelis also used .22 rifles to shoot palestinian protestors, supposedly nonlethally in the legs but because israel, they kept killing them with torso shots

nuGlock

What's with the trigger?

Attached: 1335418-IMG_5436.jpg (1200x1069, 467.57K)

Its a Glock, the trigger has a little blade in it that acts as a passive safety.

Glocks don't have much in the way of an external safety. There's no flip switch or lever.

The 'safety' is instead in the trigger. If you get a Glock, make sure it's empty. Rack the slide to activate the trigger, and using knife or thin object try and press down on the trigger without pushing that secondary looking one in the middle. You'll find that the trigger will not activate UNLESS that secondary trigger is also pressed down.

TL;DR trigger safety

Glocks have a safety built into the trigger instead of having a manual safety on the gun since they are basically exclusively used by pigs and a trigger safety allows them to shoot law abiding citizens without having to pause to take the safety off

Well it is a .22, they are tiny and can barely penetrate bone most of the time.
The more common rounds in the .380, 9mm and .45 range are within the realm of $0.20 to 0.90 depending on the round and if you're buying in bulk.

Why

Attached: 095300.jpg (1024x734, 67.8K)

>lets put the cocking mechanism right next to the barrel
I get that it's to keep it compact, but it still bugs the ever living shit out of me.

How horrifying

Gold plated tiger striped Deagle branded Deagle
More seriously it depends entirely on what you're looking for. Some super expensive comp guns will shoot better than any carry gun but aren't well suited to daily carry.

i got THIS!
