Why would you ever use the better tools when you can just carry a DIY workbench around with you and there are trees everywhere? The better axe also seriously limits how much wood you get out of your trees, so I genuinely don't see the point of ever using it outside of the incredibly rare situation where you actually want to flat-out destroy a tree as opposed to transplanting it.

The 'axe' is for making tree stumps, and certain bugs only spawn on tree stumps. The 'stone axe' is the better axe for wood harvesting.

There are two ways to catch them

As far as I can tell, villagers are still their castrated selves from NL, pretty disappointing.

I'm not asking for them to be complete jerkasses like in the Gamecube game, just make the personality types less one note and give them more dialogue.
