Nobody will care about this all reality. PS4 is all it needs. Meanwhile even with all those 360 games and those 41 original Xbox games, the PS5 will already have a better library thanks to PS4 BC. Nobody wants to play crusty old BioWare games like Jade Empire or KotOR, they want to play Persona 5 and Bloodborne.

You know modern games are shit when people want backwards comparability so much. The developers and corporations alike would never follow through with it. They wouldn't be able to lure us in with pretty looking visuals in order to get us to buy their shitty microtransactions.

Xbone was $100 more than the PS4 because it had the kinect bullshit. All of the PS5's budget was sunk into the useless proprietary SSD while XSX wisely spent it on improving CPU, GPU and memory specs across the board.

Xbox One X had slightly better hardware than the PS4 Pro and was sold at a premium. The gap is about the same if not larger, so why wouldn't they sell it for $100 more like they did last time?

the SSD is a meme but it means games might be designed around it and get lightyears more out of the already more ram, we'll see though its all just hype right now. The dedicated sound to "have sound from every raindrop" or w/e sounds amazing of course but it will probably end up being some kind of bullshit in the end, just like crackdowns cloud physics

It was twice as good. RDR2 on X1X runs at twice the resolution it does on PS4 Pro and it has a better framerate to boot.
The gap between PS5 and X1X isn't as vast as that, they're aiming for the same price bracket. Except, as I said, PS5 went overkill on the SSD and wasted its budget.

It isn't. Even with boost clocks (which require downclocking the GPU) it's slower than the XSX's CPU. It's not clear whether the PS5's 3.6GHz CPU figure includes disabling SMT too.
