ARTICHADS RISE UP!
Where is Artifact relaunch user? he would want to hear this.
Dead game lmao
Sounds more like desperation after alyx flopped.
MTG did it better and will always be king. Nobody gives a single fuck about the dota world.
Can't wait to sell my oldfag cards to all the newbies and get out of this shitty game with more money than when I bought it lmao
>Artifact
Too bad MTG is full of liberal propaganda now. What I don't understand is why these companies love putting woke shit in their stuff but loved China so much they abandon that stuff for them. What the fuck is this?
Just let it die and focus on making a new L4D or Team Fotress. Hell, make a new IP for all I care (that's not a card game)
I want to hug those imps.
They are shutting it down for good?
>mfw it turns into f2p
Imagine raising good will with the new Half-Life game, then throwing it all away by working on Artifact anyway. Fuck you Valve, you worthless greedy swines.
artifact relaunch chad must be happy
Who gives a fuck about his irredeemable garbage fire, where the fuck is the Heavy update? TF2 deserves an update more than dotashit.
No one else is playing that game anymore either dipshit.
I do, because whatever they do, it can only improve the game.
I was thinking of going back to Hearthstone, the Warcraft universe is more interesting after all.
No one's going to stop you.
Enjoy being a bottom feeder or emptying your wallet so you can stomp on the bottom feeders.
Why is literally every happening ever happening this year?
Wait, is this why all of this shit is happening?
What the fuck, Gabe?
number drift is finally killing the simulation
can't wait for another pay to win card game
It fucking better be. The game was so fucking promising but good lord they bumbled the launch SO HARD.
>We'll have an open beta!
>Ah shit too late, more like an open... week. Or something.
>Okay so everyone hates these 5 cards so we'll flip flop and start nerfing/buffing stuff post-launch
>OH NO THAT MADE THINGS WORSE
>SHIT FUCK OKAY WE CAN FIX THIS JUST GIVE US TIoh too late they all left
Valve need to cancel it. Runeterra already came first and got the spot as the MOBA card game.
That game is already doomed as evident by swim being the #1 streamer every day.
ARTIFACT CHADS
RISE UP!
I almost feel sorry for that guy. He kills every game he touches.
I can't understand why people watch him either. He spends more time just sitting there 'EPIC THEORYCRAFTING' than he does actually paying.
enjoy your f2p game
I think a lot of them are just his core audience that watches him play whatever game.
iirc his viewer numbers were bigger when he was streaming mostly just gwent.
WHERE MY LONG HAULERS AT?
Dotards are truly pathetic.
I WILL! I LIKED ARTIFACT BEFORE BUT THE PRICE OF CARDS WAS INSANE
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
ARTIFACT BROTHERS IT IS OUR TIME TO AWAKEN FROM THIS THOUSAND YEAR SLUMBER
YEAH...IM THINKING WE'RE BACK!
you still have to buy them :^)
NERF FUCKING BLUE DECKS GABEN YOU GOD DAMN RETARD AND IM IN MOTHERFUCKER
Gabe talked about how much of a failure Artifact was during his IGN interview last week, and about how failure to them is more helpful than success because it teaches them how to make better games. It's gotta be fucking amazing to be sitting on an infinite pile of money and just be like, "Well that game shit the bed but the cost of it didn't hurt us at all. Let's figure out how we can make this better for players." I don't like DOTA or card games, but hearing Gabe talk about his perspective on it is really interesting.
>people still want to play MTG minus one color
LOL
But serious talk, I personally think it's interesting that they're actually going to give this another shot.
I heard that a lot of Valve employees were massive fans of Richard Garfield.but they all got disillusioned with him after Articuck hapoened.
White might as well not exist these days.
It's definitely interesting to hear it from a private corp that makes unlimited money.
Genuinely makes you wonder just HOW MUCH money they fucking waste on endless meme experiments and shelved games.
It still blows my mind how Valve could fuck up Artifact that hard. MtG Arena and Legends of Runeterra are doing great and even Hearthstone is still kicking (mostly due to Battlegrounds)
I heard Keyforge isn't doing too hot either.
I guess his plan is just to keep making games for the 1/20 chance to create something decent like MtG or Netrunner.
His viewers fluctuate way too much to have a 'core viewer base'. When he bailed from Underlords he really only had a few hundred at a time.
good
cant wait to watch more movies
I liked artifact but their were massives problems in its design and balance
its badly made when the most common strat is just give up a lane and all in on the other 2
then you had fucking annihilation
and the manacost of some cards that were too high for what they did
and the lack of cards to begin put in perspective their were roughly only like 6 red creature cards IN THE ENTIRE GAME
then the business model
lack of trading which was the thing i was excited for to begin with
I feel like Artifact 1.0 was Richard Garfield's game.
I feel like after Richard left and it was a huge failure, the team kicked themselved hard for following him so blindly and then begged Gaben to let them make their version of the game.
>richard gardield
so I ain't a card game fag but tell me what went wrong with this guy. how did he go from magic to literally every othee trash he makes?
By far the best thing about Artifact was that one weekend where Twitch went into full meltdown and we watched anime, porn and films the whole time. Mods were absolutley powerless, for every stream they cut down three more took its place. Gurren Lagann, Hardcore Henry, Austin Powers, Highschool of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, whatever you could think of. One autist just made hundreds of accounts with bots just to play a single gif on all his channels. What a wonderful time.
I watched Superbad during that time. Good shit.
>shartifact is gonna keep on living
>we're all fucking dead
ohnonono we got too cock Yas Forumsros!
i really liked artifact. hope they can attract more people to it.
Yeah, the idea to hold "more complex" cards back for the next set so people could get used to the game with simplistic garbage first really shot them in the foot.
>that fucking Gurren Laggan marathon
It was glorious. By the time the finale episode came, twitch jannies were deleting streams left right and center like filthy fucking antispirals.
>falling for the same meme twice
don't do this
Who cares? I bet you play card games for the story too retard
Look up how many games he's made over the years.
It's a long fucking list and almost all of it is irrelevant/failed.
All of his clout basically stems from the early years of of MtG and whenever WotC brings him back to design some cards/mechanics for a new set because he usually does do something interesting to the boring stuff wizards does.
>continued interest
Where? Among their families, within their department, or what?
they still won't make a good game
look at the team handling Underlords
Garfield is a hack and stopped working on MtG before it became great. It's success and good balance for years was the result of a good R&D department. The last 2 years they really dropped the ball though.
>This shouldn't impact live Artifact...
Well, because it's dead, duh.
time to invest in axecoin
