Got an island close enough to my perfect within 3 hrs of soft resets and settled on it. Only things that aren't what I'd like are the secret beach isn't centered, the grassy peninsula thing is too far north, and my airline is green.

Objectively bad. You have a lot less space to roam in the early days of the game if you choose double south. Even if you like how double south feels, at least wait until you can terraform your island instead of purposefully gimping yourself.
