Friendly reminder that despite this shitstain of a fucking "console" that can just barely perform better than a fucking Gamecube by 15% and has the battery life for 2 hours tops has been out for 3 and half years almost and nearly it's entire library is half-assed ports, downscaled games that were released half a decade ago or longer and Indie games that were popular years ago.

There is literally only 10 games tops in it's entire library that would make this game worth getting and with the exception of Smash and BotW they are all 10 -20 hours long play through that you'll forget about in a week or less.

The Switch literally only had a good launch because of the Wii U backlog. BOTW was in development limbo for four years so they just said fuck it. Then the deluxe ports and sequels filled the gaps for customers who didn't know these games existed. Even Ultimate builds heavily off of the Smash 4 template.

This "buffer" is now empty and Nintendo is back to square 1.

The difference in hardware between a Gamecube and a Switch is a literal 20% difference in performance.

Their hardware has not been updated or even contesting with the other consoles for over 15 years and the only reason why they're still relevant is because they make the games only on their system and their software team and engineers are fucking godly.

Also all of their game engines and coding scripts are optimized and polished so neatly and precisely that it's actually hard to mod or change something because it's like taking a toothpick out from under a house that's balancing on 100 of them.
