This is the best game I have ever played in my life. Idk where to go from here
Why is it the best game?
>Idk where to go from here
Pathologic Classic, fagget
Because liking it gives him a smug sense of superiority over normies and their pleb tastes.
that's what Yas Forums is for
for once, op is not a faggot
someone got filtered
Capella
The Void
that's what's next
maybe play Knock Knock too
The next step is playing The Void.
The next step after that is becoming innawoods hermit because you'll be so pretentious you'll be pelted by stones by normal people.
fucking vlets I swear
It's a very good game, loved the characters in it desu
EYE: Divine Cybermancy
Brigand: Oaxaca
Lifeweb (if you want even moar Russian insanity)
X-Piratez
>brigand oaxaca
Fucking finally, someone else on Yas Forums actually knows about it
You go into The Void, user. Knock Knock is good too
I like the game, but I wouldn't go that far.
It really does live up to its reputation of being made by one dude who spends all the royalties on booze and weed.
i played knock knock but i have no idea what to do. Is it just surviving until dawn? am i to do something with those eyes that appear on the walls
but i have to coooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom
Pathologic 2 will NEVER be good, no matter how much Yas Forums wants it to be
Yas Forums literally doesn't like this game you elitist retard
mad because bad
real life
So it was your first game or do you just have shit taste encrypted in your soul?
cope, the game sucks
imagine being bad at video games
The thing is despite being janky, it has soul, and probably is the closest game to the original deus ex we’ll ever get
t. retard
Knock Knock fucking sucked
I really dont give a fuck about the reputation it has, I even lament it because it caused the low sales this game had. Although I will admit, knowing that it was too hard for people made me want to finish it on the intended difficulty even more which added a lot to the ending and the meaning to the game.
very kino game
Because it´s Russian. Also the character models were nice.
Because it's the only game that actually changed something about how I see life. Games are notorious for being unable to do this, all they have been for me since I've played them as a kid is distractions, sometimes with decent stories but stories non the less. Pathologic 2 is the only game that has managed to speak to me through the game, and make me feel what it wants to say. Sure, some games have commented on social relations, war, love etc but it has always been something you just passively consume. Pathologic 2 tries to teach you about how unfair life is and that you can still prevail, and it isn't dishonest. The game is really unfair- the plague constantly ignores its own rules, clouds appear out of nowhere, the game punishes you for dying yet constantly sets you up to die, at one point you have to take the plague to protect one of your kids, no matter how well you've avoided it till now. And then at the end it spells it out for you that despite all the bullshit you still pulled yourself up by your bootstraps, and managed to leave a mark on the game. No game, not even Dark Souls, has been that empowering to my real life self.
you having your bar so low doesn't make the game good. It's a nice effort, but no way can this game be considered good.
>Dark Souls
stopped reading there
kys pleb
Lmao bar so low. If my bar was set low then other, apparently better games would have been even higher on my list right ? Your reply doesnt make sense
I bet you havent played 50 games in your life in total.
Go here
I've played circa 25 games a year since 2000, why the fuck should I prove myself to you
Same. Next up The Void I guess.
>Thread full of insecure manchildren telling OP is pretentious and has shit taste at the same time
kek
you don't. the question is why do you have to prove yourself to your own self, because you're obviously lying.
Pathologic is one of the most paradoxical games, maybe the most ever made. It is objectively a bad game, but everything about it combines into a masterpiece that is inimitable in other forms of visual media
>why the fuck should I prove myself to you
because you're in an insecure flabby manchild that shitposts on Yas Forums
My computer still can’t play it. I want to though, so maybe when it finally gets console ports I can pick it up
It already has an xbone and PS4 ports
DOCTOR WHEN
Wait, I know it’s on Xbone but PS4 too? I search the shop every so often and I still can’t find it
Since it isn’t finished, should I bother pirating it?
is this truly impossible to beat without a guide like people say? I'm down for writing down notes and stuff on a few sheets of paper, but I'm kind of a brainlet
Started this yesterday, don't know a thing about it. Last thing I did was look for the key to my home and "help" some kids with a trial. I don't even know if I'm really playing the game yet or if it hasn't properly started. What's the actual gameplay like? Is it hardcore survival or listening to the dialogue?
I want to like it but the constant mini-freezes, texture load-ins and loading times on any setting take me out of it within 20 mins. No idea what happened in this game's development, other recent (and much prettier) releases run fine.
>brigand oaxaca
This game looks based. Purchased immediately. Thanks user.
It released a week ago
I don't think it's impossible. Definitely a challenge but not impossible
How is performance nowadays? It was nearly unplayable on release for me. I meant I have quite a toaster but it's still more powerful than base PS4/Xbox, so it should work, right?
Its finished, the one out now is a full 35 hour game. The devs are so ambitious they wanted to give you 3 campaigns 35 hours each with a kickstarter goal of 300 000 dollars
Both
>We're gonna draw a little bit of everybody's blood... 'cause we're gonna find out who has the Sand Plague and after that the Polyhedron is going down
>X-Piratez
Anything more like this and similarly horny, other than obviously X-Com? I dumped a 100 hours into it.
How difficult is this game?
Even when you're doing "well" you'll still feel like you're failing.
OP here, probably the most difficult thing i've ever played, but not because it's difficult to execute, but because of the stress it puts on your psyche. For example, food is not actually that hard to come by- 70% of your daily food can be aquired by doing your daily doctor shit at the fund, enemies die from 2 sneak backstabs, bottles are everywhere so even though there is water shortage you can just fill up for the entire day when you find a good source, there are enough cures for all of your kids, and you're supposed to have your first cure exactly when the game forces you to get infected on day 6. But the uncertainty because the game can continue even if characters die and the threat of death penalties just stress out your brain before they even happen.
It proves that narrative and atmosphere >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> everything else.
Not as difficult as some people may imply, it's not fucking Ninja Gaiden levels. The game establishes rules about how to survive and expects you to figure them out past a simple tutorial, it's kinda like older games made by people who respected their audience and their intelligence. They won't be holding your hand but they won't introduce unfair bullshit that you had no way of seeing. You'll be under some pressure here and there but it's nothing that cannot be managed unless you're a literal mouth breather.
Except the gameplay in Pathologic 2 is pretty fun.
That's not some mindblowing paradox

Deservedly so
