Tell me again, why you don't like this beautiful game ?
Tell me again, why you don't like this beautiful game ?
i didnt like witcher 2 so i never bought witcher 3
simple as
hard to say. I just never had fun.
has like 200+++ hours worth of content and a combat system that gets boring after the initial 10 hours
Shit combat
Shit world
Shit ui
I simply cannot like anything that is popular.
gameplay is boring
world is shallow
main story isn't interesting
Finished the base game, thought it was okay at best
4/10
I honestly just didn't like the sword swinging dancing stuff.
The only quest worth doing is the Baron's, and it gives it to you almost immediately. Pretty graphics aren't going to trick me into thinking it's a good game, there's no likeable characters and it's two steps away from being a Bethesda game with all of the buggy repetitive motions you have to go through.
Yas Forums likes it so i hate it
ALALALLALALALALALALALA
it's popular
controls like a ps2 game and gets boring as fuck after half an hour
The story kinda gets soggy towards the end. I just lost interest after I found Ciri.
It's entry level contrarianism.
I don't like open world games.
It's kinda sad when you realize it's a documentary about Poland's history.
can people stop pretending the game is fun? its not.
how retarded do you need to be to pretend a shit game is fun? what do you gain?
>how retarded do you need to be to pretend a shit game is fun?
Yas Forums
It's so fucking boring.
god the game is so lame it really fucking sucks thank you Yas Forums
Skyrim is boring too, it's shit.
Only honest respone.
/thread
Main game and storyplot is pretty shit though.
Expansions are only good thing about the game
It's popular. That's why.
Gameplay is boring. Every quest is a fetch quest and your witcher sense solves everything for you. The dialogue system is equally as brainless. As far as gameplay goes there is nothing to appreciate.
I hate how fast you level up
They give you a billion quests but by the time you do 1 (one) you've already outleveled the other quests in the zone you just entered
Like how hard is it to not make you level up at the speed of light jfc
Playing it now, its so much better than Beth-trash but I do have niggling complaints about, say, the Skellige map, or how there's only two maps of any size in the base game or how long the load times are on Switch (specifically reloading after a death.)
Needed more quests like the Baron's and less of your five female companions all acting exactly the same.
I do like it I just don't think it's a flawless masterpiece is all
Honestly, I don’t get why I don’t like it. I liked fallout 4. Something about medieval games really turns me off, which sucks cause the atmosphere and setting is probably the best part of the game. I thought leveling up was a chore, even though I played with worse. Enemies were generic. i didn’t like the inventory system (whenever I go back to attempt playing, I see a bunch of swords that I don’t know what to do with). The magic system bored me, although I only had that blast attack. Had lots of elements of a great rpg, just did a lot of them shitty (in the first 5-10 hours since that’s all I’ve played)
i do
They nerfed away the fun stuff you can do with items and magic
I like it, but the story is shit and full of dumb retcons and most of the RPG mechanics are shit.
Disgusting MMORPG gear system and levels.
The legendary white wolf whips the ass of a wild hunt warrior only for his sword to deal no damage to a piddly dick little ghoul that's higher level.
should i just skip W1 and W2?
Yes, it's one of those series where your momentum from later games helps fuel you playing the older games.
>Has major bugs
>Level scaling is too tough
>Meditation/Potion refill mechanic is OP
>Tedious bosses
>Loot leveling is pretty bad (picrelated random sword i found on the ground vs the sword from lvl 20+ quest despite me being lvl 8, i might guess because the game's message is 'life is i unfair' but i dunno"
Writing of the main quest is ok but as a game its hard to enjoy it.
-all non-quest related things you can find on the world are copy paste boring shit
-no one will talk to you unless they are quest related and you have the quest that requires them
-awful ui made for consoles and only 2 consumable slots, making alch spec a chore
-no resource management, you just instantly get all your potions back for whats essentially free
-enemies have 1, maybe 2, attacks that they repeat over and over, making fights absolutely boring after an hour
-level system only works to the games detriment, as youll quickly outlevel everything you have to do and it will all be easier than the game already is
-coming across a SKULL WARNING SIGN monster should be exciting but it's not, because you know it fights exactly the same as all the others of its kind, only with more hp.
-"cinematic" controls that ignore accuracy in favor of looking more natural
-even death march is easy as fuck due to a lack of enemy attack variety and every ability you can spec into being way too strong
-ciri sections are boring and unneeded and only serve to rob you of what could have been the one interesting boss fight in the game.
-the final moments of the story seem rushed as fuck, from oh hi crones now we fight, to im eredin i have a secret, im dying my secret is this guy tricked us and i had no plan to deal with it, to oh actually geralt i didnt trick you everthing is fine ciris here
-majority of loot is randomized and scales to your level. Nothing you find really excites you.
-all enemies have an extremely short tether that you will cross unintentionally more often than not. At this point they ignore you and start walking back to the center of the area or hang around to get hit easily
-witcher senses are only ever used when the quest requires it and is just hold right click to follow quest arrow. you cant actually track monsters or anything out in the world(and why would you need to? theyre all tethered to a small location and never move away)
6/10, masterpiece.
i like that game
the expansions are better than the main game
The only people concerned with popularity are fans.
shit taste
It's a watered-down audiobook that requires you to sit through a mediocre rpg with humdrum action to listen to. There are better books and games to pass the time.
Cute babby-tier dismissal
If it's an audiobook then why were you staring at Triss' cleavage?
I can't wait for you kids to go back to school.
Only after you die (from coronavirus)
That doesn't make any sense.
i love this game because Ciri is in it
Replaying it now I forgot how much shit there is to do I'm like 40 hours in and only level 17
He's calling you old.
I guess anyone not underage is old now?
I like it.
/thread
I do like it, I just always have trouble replaying it because the beginning is so slow
hearts of stone is pretty solid
Let me go rebuy and fire up this game that I obviously disliked and buy the expansion so that I can prove this middling response right.
>Has major bugs
Name two (2)
>Level scaling is too tough
Wat? Then turn it off
>Tedious bosses
Subjective as fug, for me they were not an issue.
>Loot leveling is pretty bad
In general TW3 has shit leveling and loot system, they should stick to hand placed items instead of pseudo random drops.
For me the biggest drawback aside from how shit leveling and gear is. No matter what do you want your play-style to be you will end up with swinging sword.
TW2 had at least 3 combat styles that was viable, you could go swordman, signs or traps/fireworks.
same, never played witcher but the sfm is out of this world
preggo ciri getting railed by a horse is top stuff
I'm replaying the first Witcher and I wish I could meditate wherever I want. It's just a whole lot of running back and forth to see if quest givers are available. Not being able to carry trophies in your inventory is also lame.
I played through it 3 fucking times, what more do you want. Stop asking this shit.
>Want to replay TW3
>Still no mods to fix shit loot system
>Why even live
