Let's have an FF7 Remake thread without spoilers, and discuss what we like and don't like
Aiden Phillips
Bentley Clark
Like: Character models
Dislike: Not knowing a single thing about plans to release the rest of the game. ?? hours of padding from new Squenix.
I ain't fucking with this shit till I know how they're handling it.
Kayden Foster
I hope you're okay user
Colton Mitchell
>went to town today to pick up some clothes I got tailored
>place is a ghost town
>plenty of free car parks
It was fucking amazing. I hate going to town because of how crowded it usually is.
William Gutierrez
>gameplay that made the original a classic
You mean the gameplay that's basically just a run-time environment for the script of materia combinations you set up BEFORE the battle? Great the remake keeps that in and furthermore improves on the otherwise lackluster "going through the motions" gameplay.
Gabriel Rivera
is there any Stamp art yet
Jayden Gomez
FF7 is Persona 3?

FF7 doesn't take 40 hours to get good.

>what we like and don't like.
Don't like the changes to the aesthetic.
Don't like the changes to the plot.
Don't like the pacing of the story, which seems designed exclusively for people who played the original.
Don't like the drawn out hallways and combat arenas level design.
Don't like the modern video game design sensibilities.
Don't like the quippy writing.
I feel like I played a different game to everybody else.

I'd want to have an "attack" command available when I want to command my party members to attack and which enemy I'd want them to focus, for example that part where the laser turrets and that dodging creep, the area right before the end, I want Barret to deal with the turret and me playing Cloud to kite and handle the dodging motherfuckers. And I'm really starting to hate how they are using Sephiroth in this remake. Other than that, I'm pretty cool with it. The demo is like a daily thing for me now. Everytime I booted up my PS4, I'll start by playing the demo. It's just so damn good. Although, the cutscenes seems to have lost it's charm after the 20th time and Jessie's flirting got aggravatingly annoying.
