okay i played mgr first and then pöayed god hand and in god hand i feel pretty confident and good. now i went back to mgr and came to the conclusion that it sucks. it happens way to often that the camera angle changes for no fucking reason mid combat and in a game where you have to press the analog stick in the direction from which the attack is coming from this should not happen. so i deinstalled it because its to frustrating?
also what is it with all these games and wiggling the analog stick? this mechanic is awful and they should stop using this shit. at least button mashing is reliable but stick wiggling is absolutely not

Well personally I wait until I get all the skills. Then I usually go with the highest difficulties first. It makes S-ranking lower ones afterwards feel like a victory lap. Yeah MGRR's camera is notoriously jank like that. Though overall fun, when pushed to its limits the game's cracks start to show.
Learning vergil in DMC3 atm, anybody got some tips for doing blistering swords during jc'ed airraves? I have some trouble doing it consistently off of a killer bee jc. youtu.be/o_tvYaaI1hY?t=1059 (17:39 is what i'm talking about) Also did they remove wild stomp cancelling off of other CC's in the HD collection? I tried doing it a dozen times but I can't get wild stomp to trigger, I even slowed down the game to 10% speed but still nothing.

Ninja gaiden sigma works well on rpcs3, finished the game a dozen times there and had little to no issues aside from some minor framedrops(ryzen 5 2600 & 1070ti for reference). NG3:RE also works well with CEMU, Kasumi is so damn fun in that game.

Yeah I set gun to R1, the problem is that I often mess up one of the inputs. Either I don't JC properly or the blistering swords don't come out or I accidentally press the trick button. I've only started doing this yesterday so maybe I need more practice.

DMC5 is still my main squeeze at the moment and god damn do I love that game. Feels like I'm constantly discovering and learning new techniques and setting up new combos even after nigh 250 hours.
I've also gotten the itch to play the Ninja Gaiden series again but that'd require wrangling out my old PS3 and getting shit set up which is a pain. Port them to PC already Team Ninja you fucks.
It's fun but somewhat clunky and lacking in depth compared to its contemporaries. It's got some cool ideas though and I'm looking forward to seeing what that team does next.
I'm falling in love with Bayonetta at the moment. Learning Dodge and Panther Offset have skyrocketed my enjoyment of the game. I'm binging the shit out of it like I did DMC5 last year.

I do like DMC5, but getting S rank on Hell and Hell is sucking the life out of it for me right now. It's still satisfying once I do it, but getting there is a pain especially with all of the loading whenever I restart. DMC5 is still great, but I'll be glad to let it be once I'm done with Hell and Hell.

There used to be a channel with vintage DMC3 combo vids mostly made by asians, but the owner went and took down the whole channel one day. Sites like niconico and billibilli have a lot of quality DMC3 vids, if you can find them that is.
