Are the p5royal reviews treating the game as though you’ve never played P5? I read the additions and it seems so minimal. Why the fuck is it rated so high?

No. The base game itself only really had style going for it and this barely adds anything.

Not really, the game has a completely new story section.
It's more correct to say that yo uare buying a DLC at a full price game like the KH Final Mix used to do on the PS2.
