this is a very unhidden gem user
i'd go as far as to say it's a well known gem

Why haven't they ported Trouble in Paradise to PC yet? Is it a much better version of the game than the original?

I never wanted to try this and Blue Dragon as a kid because they both had kiddie shows.

>viva piƱata
>a kid focused show
>was an actual great game and loved by everyone
How did they do it

Rare is dead is why
At least you can play it on xbone and sexbox

Everyone knows this is great.

I played both but I can't distinguish them in my head.
If they made a new one with PC, better online/community features, and maybe some free two play tier it'd be a hit.

These were as hidden as they get

Not a hidden gem. It had a damn tv show.

Viva pinata is without a doubt in my top 5 favorite games. Despite it in the end basically coming down to filling checklists, there isn't another game quite like it. It has so much personality and I love decorating the garden.

based what a great fucking game

nice, was this that grid/turn based game where I think the high-ground really helped?

Maybe people sometimes say this because it didn't end up being the huge hit Microsoft wanted it to be. They developed the show alongside the game hoping it'd become a massive franchise, but it never really took off.

yep and two very different campaigns. one you were basically a Roman and another a barbarian and that would totally change the fighting style of your people and the kind of arenas youd go to. and different arenas would hold special games with specific types of gladiators they wanted, such as females or light only. revolutionary

They weren't completely engulfed by short-sighted market research decisions like focus testing.

People like to piss all over the 7th gen for its introduction of idiotic business practices, but that gen has a lot of hidden gems that go unnoticed.

Yeah but you can't buy it on the microsoft store anymore. Torrent it.

Is this actually good, it was bundled in the same box as forza so whenever I picked it up I would look at the box and be like "nah I'm just gonna play some forza"

Nah, threads just sucking it off ironically. Stay away. Complete trash.

I like this guy but he's a fucking faggot.
>"I swear guys, I'm not trying to raise prices on rare physical games"
>straight up has a series going over "rare and expensive" games from each console

>Yeah but you can't buy it on the microsoft store anymore.
This digital future sure is looking bright.

prove that he actually influences the prices on games

Thankfully you can still find physical discs for VP1 on PC. I got mine new and cheap within the past year and I love having VP no matter where I go on my laptop, though I ended up ripping it anyway to avoid using my disc drive. I wish they did a VP2 PC release, though.

Fuck the multiplayer was the best.
> Slowly Earn some retarded 12 years trust.

>Steal all their special pinata by stuffing them in a crate and mailing them to yourself.
So many good memories of the salt.
Id Also mail mass weed bombs to random people on my friends list

I'd say yes, TiP is a betterversion and jesus fuck am I glad I managed to get ahold of a copy last summer and played it on my brothers old xbox.
The key differences are more species, you can catch them with traps and if you want certain items you always need to tinker them with Whatshisname Pumpkinhead, which sucks when it comes to mushrooms

VP had multiplayer? Sounds awful, I was autismo as fuck over my garden

Fuck yeah

I really have to get my hands on this. Its a crime what happened to Games republic.

Despite selling so much, I rarely encounter people who actually played this game except on Yas Forums nowadays.

Didn't know about this. Looks like Front Mission.

It's a great game but it can get tedious at times when you have more than a few pinata types.

It's well known but most people I've ever talked to about it thought it was shovelware cause it was always a pack in or in one of those weird cardboard sleeves. Only ever talked to other people that actually played it on Yas Forums.

This is my favorite game. I make an anniversary thread for it on October 14. Hope to see you there. If we're not all dead by then my goal for this year is to scan and upload the Japanese guidebook, it's got some nice art.

I own and played this game. Little King's Story honestly felt like a Pikminlike

>proceed to beat the shit out of it using your shovel

It's pretty much the one game/IP Rare made under Microsoft that is unanimously considered good.

That being said, it being on Xbox limited its audience. If it were released for the Wii (in a world where Rare stuck around with Nintendo), then it probably would of been hailed as a classic by Nintendo fans, just as Banjo-Kazooie and GoldenEye were.

Pretty sure Viva Pinata is available on Windows but you need to either buy the actual game disc or find it somewhere in the wild. Not sure how compatible the game is with more recent OSs.

This one? Nice, thanks. Are you debinding it to scan? Also wow I didn't know this had such a fair amount of doujinshi.
