Does dodging give you frame advantage over blocking? It seems tough and I find hard to find uses for it besides the obvious forward dodge to a projectile. To which I've been punished by normals afterwards too because projectiles recover stupid fast in this game.

He has really good stagger pressure. On knockdown he can make you hold his three hit ice projectile so he can mix you up again. He has a quickdive for 50/50s, a wall cling to escape pressure and his teleport has invoncibility frames on frame 1. He's really good.

That depends on the move you’re dodging.
Some moves have a lot of blockstun and are better off being dodged (Charlotta’s SBA, Gran’s SSBA, Bubs’ SSBA, Percival’s 214X-M, etc) while other moves are easier to punish if you just block them (Lancelot’s SBA and SSBA, Narmaya’s SSBA, etc).

Katalina is such a drag to fight, even as Lancelot. You need to be so patient to avoid running into her keep-away attacks that it slows the match down to a crawl until I can finally make my way in.
I can only imagine how much more frustrating it must be for Vaseraga.
