im on level 5 of chris's and so far it's much better than leons
Man RE6 is so fucking bad, its so stupid and has so many dumb action sequences, there are QTE's!!! QTE's in a RE game?...

You can't even take re6 seriously though, that's my biggest problem with it. Re4 was action packed but is still very much a horror game that scared the shit out of people, re6 has no tension whatsoever, everything feels so inconsequential. My biggest fear was having to do a boring part over again.

Leon's campaign pretends to be some kind of a classic throwback but ends up being RE Revelations -tier dumbassery all around. Chris' campaign is like late game RE4 and late game RE5 and honestly has the best plot of any RE game, even if it's janky and short. Jake's campaign is capeshit meets Tomb Raider. It's got some charm but holy hell is it dumb. Ada's campaign is like Ada's bonus missions in RE4 except full-sized. It's a chore, but you get to stare at her ass a lot so I guess it's okay.

Don't even mention Leon's campaign in the same breath as Revelations. The stories are equally dumb but in terms of gameplay Revelations was significantly more successful in curbing the OTS formula back in a horror direction. I would even argue that 7 and the recent remakes were built off that game's back. Leon's campaign was still some RE5 nonsense while trying desperately to shove RE2 nostalgia in players' faces, it was genuinely insulting.

Double bad takes. Helena is a horrible person and an even worse plot device, and Ada's is the weakest from an action perspective but probably the closest one to being like an actual RE with its slower pacing and somewhat increased emphasis on puzzles. It's a bad co-op run and gun but fuck co-op run and guns if it's not some Contra shit.
