Well yea it has way more competition than RE2 so of course it will sell less. The original re2 also had more critical acclaim than 3. The atmosphere in this remake is just way better than 2.

Not in the demo, but according to some articles earlier it's going to be like the original where you can drop him for weapons/ammo. So be prepared for the shitposting narrative to now be "lol the game is too easy" instead of "wtf why is this guy chasing me and ruining my comfy horror game 0/10."
