Hasn't this been proven wrong literally every single time someone has claimed a game started to perform better when Denuvo was removed? The only time it's going to have any sort of performance impact is if you were already CPU limited in the first place.

Denuvo contracts are based on copies sold, sort of like a royalty system. Makes sense to remove it once your initial sales window passes.
