A hobby is supposed to be something productive, or at least educational. A video game is none of those things. You are literally staring at a screen, pressing buttons, and getting nothing out of it but a temporary dopamine fix. Video games aren't a hobby, they're an addiction, and a harmful one, since they take away from time you could be spending with your friends, your family or improving yourself through exercise or education.
