Sims 4 is bad. After a few hours, you'll start to realize it has very little depth and often tries to railroad your family into doing things.

Traits are almost pointless. They only unlock options from the radial menu or slightly adjust moodlet gains, they don't change personality or behavior of the sim at all. Everyone acts the same.

Samefag here. For some context, I have a sims 3 character who's grumpy and melancholic. She's almost never happy, often starts arguments, frequently stares out of windows, and sometimes needs to be cheered up by her family just to not be upset anymore.

This type of character is impossible to recreate in the sims 4. Even with similar traits, they'll still be happy most of the time, have identical reactions to events, and do the same random BS every other sim does. There was no distinguishing behavior from the other sims.
