Today, a high ranking researcher asked me to take care of a new specimen. It looks like a bat without any skin. They told me to feed them live food. When I threw in a pig, they were playing with it... tearing off the pig's legs and pulling out the guts before they actually ate it.

Around 5 o'clock this morning, Scott came in and woke me up suddenly. He was wearing a protective suit that looks like a space suit. He told me to put one on as well. I heard there was an accident in the basement lab in Wuhan. It's no wonder, those researchers never rest, even at night.

I've been wearing this annoying space suit since yesterday, I’m coughing like crazy and my chest feels tight. By way of revenge, I didn't feed those bats today. Now I feel better.

I went to the medical room because my chest is all swollen and feels like it is burning. They put a big bandage on my chest and the doctor told me I did not need to wear the space suit any more. I guess I can sleep well tonight.

When I woke up this morning, my chest was burning. It was annoying and I ended up nearly coughing my lungs out as I went to the bat cage. They have been quiet since morning, which is very unusual. I found that some of them had escaped. I'll be in real trouble if the higher-ups find out.

Even though I didn't feel well, I decided to go see Mei Ling. It's my first day off in a long time but I was stopped by the guard on the way out. They say the company has ordered that no one leave the grounds. I can't even make a phone call. What kind of joke is this?!

Is it a timed demo like 2?

Will I enjoy this if my main complaint about REmake2 was that it felt like a gimped TPS retroactively made to fit the game design of RE2?

I don't see the point of playing the demo when I already know I'm playing the full game.

I heard a researcher who tried to escape from the lab was shot last night. My entire body feels burning and it hurts to breathe at night. When I was coughing, a clot of blood and rotten flesh came up. What the hell is happening to me.

Maybe if you rush it like a retard. If you look for every nook and cranny and have some fun trainning the dodge mechanics with Nemesis, you'll spend some hours on it.

I can see that. Just don't get too disappointed about Nemesis. He's a bit weak in the demo and they clearly couldn't figure out his pathfinding so they made him warp all over the place.

I actually died to nemesis, because I played the Evil Within recently and kept trying to run with L1 lol

So he smacked me twice in a row then died. My data was sent to capcom and now I'm forever ashamed.

Am I wrong for not enjoying Nemesis being in the game? I like to slowly and carefully explore locations but he is too fucking fast and aggressive

You can probably explore areas again when you dispatch Nemesis -- for whatever period he's gone.

Thought it was pretty good, didn't really get to fuck around with nem because after he appeared I dodged past him and put the hose on and the demo ended so... bit annoyed about that
but I might end up playing some more later on today and trying to find some of the dolls as well.

The gameplay shits itself whenever you interact with a boss/Nemeis, it's just goofy and clunky and not fun. It's also a far cry from being a horror game at this point.

Nemesis in this game feels really rushed. They magically make him appear in areas because they couldn't figure out a way for him to get there otherwise and you can force him not to leap at you if you point the camera at him while running away. He also swings into the clouds with his tentacle if you go into certain spots where he can't get to. Otherwise I really liked it.

What is wrong with that bacon?

You're shooting to much if you got low on ammo during this demo. There's bullets everywhere, didn't even use the gunpowder.

Focus your shots and go for stuns. I don't know if the full game's gonna have red barrels everywhere but they're great.

2. If you really ran out of ammo in the RE3 demo, you should just end your life immediately.

I had like 20 or something, but i always shot the zombies in their legs

get your self killed a couple of times and you'll get the option of switching to Assisted Mode in the game over screen which automatically starts you off with the rifle

Perry good overall, but they were WAY too generous with the ammo.

I ended with like 75 pistol bullets, and I didn't have that many in RE2 until around the sewers or lab area

Some shit that the dumbfuck journos, who shouldn't have their jobs, missed, and my overall impressions:

>you can still kite and cheese Nemesis around like you did Mr. X, he's overall faster and will run at you, but if you keep running circles around him in the restaurant he only ever fast walks (at least he did for me)
>his punch combo is also really easy to perfect dodge if you do the first one right, that gives you shitloads of damage
>seems like his weakpoint isn't the head, it's the mechanical heart on his chest, if you keep shooting it, it discharges electricity to show it's a weakpoint, Nemesis will also put up his hand to shield it if you do
>you can't choose where to put your items in your inventory if you pick them up, it's a bit weird
>if you keep spamming the dodge, Jill gets exhausted after about the second or third one and kinda staggers weirdly
>perfect dodge seems to always give you bonus damage not unlike a crit
>Nemesis goes down easily to the grenade but I noticed that the length of how long he stays down varies depending on which weapon you brought him down with, he only took the knee for around three seconds or something when I shot him instead of using explosives, X might've worked like this as well
>zombies don't seem to surprise you and play dead as well as in RE2, they seem to have a death animation, more closely to the classic games
>Nem's animations seem to be more virgorous than X, he does a weird uppercut thing and it makes him look like he's from Street Fighter
>he also strikes a pose before going down and looks like a goof (pic rel, this is a good change)
>shotgun feels pretty much the same as RE2, I'd even say it's more powerful and gibs heads more reliably
>the way Nemesis despawns is a bit stupid looking, but not something that ruins immersion imo
>haven't been able to dodge the tentacle yet, it's not as annoying as I thought it would be and it can often put you in danger of zombies or prevent you from running inside rooms

Why do they tint the screen black and white when you take damage instead of showing the health meter for a second like RE2

What happens if you exceed the ammount of graphics memory?

I'm playing with everything set to max like in the screenshot 12/8 gb, and it's perfect fps on 1080p.

I sincerely doubt the ammo drops will be the same in the base game. This entire demo is basically just a set up for the boss fight with Nemesis at the end, so they spoonfeed you ammo the whole time. I’m sure in the actual game, when exploring areas without Nemesis, you don’t get a lot of ammo. Once a Nemesis encounter is coming up, they give you a lot of ammo and then use him as an ammo dump. Classic RE stuff.

Even without the red dot the aim sight reduces faster than in RE2. I nice details that shows how Jill is more experienced than Leon and Claire.

After playing REmake 2 recently I tried legs also, but this game is back to the "Shoot the head" way.

Did the game get a downgrade? I don't remember the textures in REmake2 so shit.
