I still play fable every few years or so, Fable 2 was okay but also its stuck on the 360.
Fable 3 was a fucking travesty. It's literally exactly what everyone KNEW would happen if you gave an "Ideas Guy" the complete reign of a series.
"Oh wouldn't it be cool if..." becomes an extremely crappy half assed mechanic that doesn't even work half the time. For every single mechanic in the game.
And somehow they made combat EVEN EASIER than the game that made it IMPOSSIBLE TO DIE. Plus the coop in 3 was just the promised coop that we were supposed to get in fable 2 but inexplicably didn't(because that whole spiel was just the ranting of an ideas guy).

Did find it humorous that the game tries to strongarm you into the same bad choices your brother made to push some dumb moral, except you can personally solve literally everyones problems with your massive commercial success as a businessman.
