No, the original CoD and UO are the only titles worth playing on PC.

CoD2 copied Halo's regen health and weapon system and instantly-thrown nades and etc. It was where the series started going down hill (and fast).

CoD3 was just console trash

CoD4 was okay (mediocre by PC standards really), but certainly not the best. It was the last CoD title that was worth buying because it still had proper PC support (mod tools, map editor, master server, and community run dedi-servers). It went downhill once Grant Collier left IW and Activision sued the other founders and many of the original devs left the company. Can't find the interview, but G. Collier talked about the PC version of it a bit and how it'd have all that makes it proper PC games.

BY FAR the best call of duty ever made. The campaign is fucking awesome, tense, incredible pacing. So many memorable moments. Fighting ultranationalists in Russian villages was atmospheric as fuck
Multiplayer is the definition of fun. 13 years later, it's still something I can spend hours on. Great balance, weapons, maps, literally everything...
When compared to CoD4, all of the sequels are pure shit. CoD WaW is an exception since it's basically a reskin of CoD4

No, it has a completely different feel than BF. Not only were the levels not the same, but the engine and gunplay and game modes and just everything about it. And I used to play a lot of BF1942 and CoDUO. Just because it's a shooter with vehicles doesn't make it BF. BF also had no Base Assault or CTF or SD game mode.

Which is another thing, Search and Destroy was perfect in CoD1/UO. Anyone could plant the bomb and no regen health. That makes for a lot more tense fights and more fun. If you got shot by a sniper and lived at the start of a round, you had to play cautiously. Nothing beats pulling a clutch round win with low HP or 1v4 or something.

Also, the custom maps in CoD1 and UO were amazing.

Oh and throwing grenades was great in CoD1/UO. You had to equip it first which meant you could get caught with your pants down, someone turns a corner when you're readying a nade. Very fun stuff when you or an enemy starts trying to dodge because you/they had a nade out. The nades also bounced off walls so perfectly and there were actual throw animations because it wasn't just some Halo rip-off instant-nade-throw garbage from consoles.

UO is good too and they should both have some MP servers still up, although they're probably mostly mods and custom maps. Not a whole lot of vanilla servers last I checked and most just disable PB either for the cracked users or because PB is just useless for it now since it hasn't been updated in over a decade for it.

Completely false. Without SP the M16 requires all 3 bullets to hit the upper body for a kill. With SP, you can kill somebody by hitting their ass cheeks as they're turning around a corner.

IW also ripped off someone's idea of a Chinese mp_carentan after the community mapper had been posting screencaps of their work to their old Simple Machines Forum way back when (before they shut down the SMF forum and gave the finger to the community).

You had a few "expansion" maps, but no real expansion. The mod tools and map editor were better than any added official content for all the custom maps and mods. Plenty of custom maps, both single player and multi player, and that's why I say it was the last CoD worth playing. WaW had mod tools/map editor but it cheat protected the fucking FoV in single player to some ultra-low console FoV... fucking console plebs ruin everything.
