I’m not retarded and I saw you can buy them from the bath messengers, so no.

I'm on my first play through and i'm still fucking farming them

I think yes. Before Amelia I think.

>farming in dark souls

I bought them

after getting my ass blasted by OoK for hours, yeah

Nah, you're swimming in money if you do the chalices.

guaranteed seething replies

i got 200
is that enough for orphan of kos(m)

I did, and I didn't cry about it because farming is a normal part of any game that resembles an RPG in any way.
Besides, figuring out a farming route on your own is satisfying and rewarding.

First run through I didn't have to do this at all until I got to fucking Ebrietas.
Cunt walled me so fucking hard and I don't even know why anymore. I had more trouble with her than any boss in the game by far.

I'm trying to do the first chalice as a pure arcane build and got stonewalled by Watchdog of the Old Lords so I have no money to spend or gems to improve myself.

>having trouble at a part in the game
>currency levels you up
>instead pay currency on potions and stay at the level you are at when you wasted them all
>not going to the second lamp and smashing the 2 birck bois on repeat for 3 mins to get back up to max.

Dark souls 1 has a perfect healing system, it's so good I often find myself wishing most other games with helming potions used the dark souls 1 system. Farming and buying potions is fucking lame, having limited heals adds tension and encourages exploration to try and get additional heals and finding them feels like a big upgrade. Even utter mediocrity like dragon age inquisition was made better by copying it. I really don't see why they keep fuckjng around with it, they nailed it on the second try but then keep trying to tweek it.

I suck at this game. I cant beat the npc after the spiders in the nightmare.

I cant beat the doom guy with the bell enchanted axe in the hunters nightmare.
Not without cheesing it or leveling more.

Never had to farm sedatives though.

Im level 70 or so.

I never played DS with shields, so no.

I always thought going backwards through hemwick was the best way to farm them so long as you could reliably kill the axe lads.

i think i would just die if i got hit before a certain point in a fight

>Perfect your healing system on the second try
>Fuck it up literally every time since
From why

I hope they will make another game in universe. Not BB2 but something related to BB world. PVP, invasions, chalice dungeons were so fucked up. And I think this game has worst netcode ever. Even beating Demon's Souls.

Shields encourage people to ignore rolling and two handing their weapon when those two things are utterly busted. Just using your stupid I frames and weapon reach and extra damage while two handing makes everything so much easier.

Literally once and only cause I thought it was what you had to do cause everyone whined about it.
Then I found the bath messengers and never grinded vials again. The only time I can see someone needing to grind vials because they can't afford them is before Gas coin and the route to him is literally designed to shit out bullets and vials because the devs knew this would happen.

...

I think they wanted people to play more in the world rather than race to the boss after dying every time they fail. It makes sense in some ways.

just sayan bloodborne was piss easy if you played roll souls first

Nope. The trick is to not be mind numbingly stupid. Everytime after you level up, use the remaining souls to buy vials.

it doesnt take long for the blood echoes requirements for leveling up to be high enough to where once you have leveld up again , the left over blood echoes will be enough to buy a ton of blood vials.

also it doesnt take much effort at all to get a +5 or +6 weapon , you can then take a casual stroll through central yarnam slaughtering stuff with ease. enemies drop a ton of blood vials

Yes, but I played the very first version of the game that had shit drop rates

Nope
I don't suck cock

>Dark souls 1 has a perfect healing system
You can literally just kill Pinwheel within five (5) minutes after creating a new character and then run around with 20 Estus Flasks. You retard.

>poor level design and an easy boss letting you get late game upgrades for next to no effort invalidates the actual healing system it self
Silly name nigger

I think the game was cheap for only giving you a few before Gascan, I remember being stuck in Yharnam forever because I had to run through the house five times before every boss attempt.
But after that it just becomes a part of managing your souls, you get more than enough to stay topped up while still leveling up. I don't think I ever had to farm souls in BB, even for the expensive chalice ingredients.
Ebby is a shit boss, don't feel bad
>writhing mass of appendages with no discernible anatomy or telegraphing
>suddenly you're dead
One Reborn has the same problem because you can never tell what the fuck it's doing until it's too late.
My only problem is that estus reinforcement and kindling were broken as shit. You should have gotten 5 base flasks, 10 at hubs with a fire keeper, period. If you need 20 Estus+5 to get through an area you're doing something very wrong.

No, thanks to my Demon's Souls experience, I realized that limited healing items are important to keep on hand in massive quantities, so I figured out which enemies would drop them in massive quantities and just killed them when I walked by rather than target farming for this shit.

>our first game had a horrible healing system everyone complained about so we changed it to something that is so good every game started to copy it
>how about we go back to the bad one for our next game?

kk boomer

>doesnt take much effort at all to get a +5 or +6 weapon
?
You don't get the upgrade tool until after Gascoigne, and BB's pretty stingy with shards until late in the game.

It seems like a pretty fucking standard healing item found in every game ever I don't see the problem

Yes I had to farm them, Ludwig is fucking hard dude

Yeah 10 should have been the limit, with das2 style healing where it fills the bar up steadily instead of the insta heal. But instead of making small adjustments like this to truly perfect it they just keep going backwards, it's so frustrating.

It was my first Soulsborne game so yeah, I used to go back to the Forbidden Woods and farm tons of them.

idk what you mean, I fought gasc with a +2 cane so you can definitely upgrade before him

It was even worse on release because of stacks. As I remember they added bigger stacks later

Sure, there were a couple of spots that ground my gears. But then I got to filtered by micolash

The only time I didn't have 20 was the very start of the game and when I got my shit slapped by Ebrietas for literal hours. If you had to regularly grind for vials you're really really really bad (as opposed to my "really bad" level)

>chalice dungeons
one dungeon i have is a room full of aliens, get 50k souls in 2-3min
>margos loft
run past piggy boys, 60k souls easy
>1st floor with the slime bois
room with a bunch of them, 15k souls per run good for early game
literally no point in farming for those when you can get easy money

That's the blood gem tool. You can upgrade before Gas coin (up to +2 easily)

I tend to run out of quicksilver bullets faster. I'm not sure how to implement those consistently in my gameplay while maintaining a reasonable stock of them. Am I just supposed to lean on blood bullets?

Were anyone able to find offshape best gems for minmaxing? Before hacks.

>using a dumb exploit you learned about on your favorite e-celebs gaming faggot channel only left in by from so weak little s o i b o i s can get through the game on easy mode
This justifies critique of the games healing system.

>farm
No I was just smart with my echoes and bought a shitton. I did die to a lot of stupid shit but running out of vials was never one of those issues.

Also I would suck farts out of The Doll's butthole.

Attached: Doll Cute.png (1181x1181, 743.05K)

and how many people did that on their first playthrough you cunt?

I was playing with a bunch of friends on voice chat and one of the dudes in the group was getting filtered real fucking bad by Ebrietas. Everyone was telling him he was underleveled but he continually insisted that he would do it. 10 hours later he finally did it and nobody even celebrated because he complained the entire time.

I was sufficiently leveled so I downed it on my 2nd attempt.

>Everyone was telling him he was underleveled
>I was sufficiently leveled so I downed it on my 2nd attempt.
Cringe. He was based because despite his complains he still killed here without being overleveled.

His obstinate bashing his head against the wall was making everything awkward for everyone in the group. Everyone else was making progress just fine exploring, farming, taking down bosses, but this moron was mouth breathing into his mic every 10-15 seconds because he refused to acknowledge that you're not supposed to be one-shot by every single attack.

Before Gascoigne yes. After not at all.

This pic confuses me. I love making my girl bounce on top of me during anal, its tighter than pussy, I can grab titties, and she reacts way more. Anal sex isn't just for fags you faggots

Not until Orphen of Kos

Women do not possess prostate glands. They never experience anal the way a man can. Men win again.

Yup, but I also liked farming goliath pigs for the blood echoes drops as well

Blood Vials are an absolutely baffling design choice. I don't know why the fuck they went back on Estus.
You have to farm them if you run out against a tough boss, but this isn't a casual filter, it's just na extra grind.
If anything Blood Vials make the game MORE casual since you can carry 20 of them out the gate. It completely undermines the "hit enemies quickly to get health back" mechanic because it's always safer to use your large stock of vials. And yet BBdrones defend this casual and tedious mechanic.

In the perfect version of Bloodborne, you'd only be able to carry 10 vials max (to make the game harder and to make the player take more risks to get health back) but they would refill every time you rested at a lamp post (to eliminate the need to farm should you run out)

Why? Most of my experience was just going full beast mode and spamming R1 at her ass.
