Totally ruined Disgaea 4 on the Vita for me. Hazama and Bang had 3 different voice actors in one of the BBCS versions. And Bamco did it in Tales of Vesperia too.

tales of vesperia you could somehow suffer through Yuri but some other characters aren't even trying sound like there were in base game

Jesus, I agree that Yuri's voice actors were pretty close so it was difficult to tell unless you knew which scene was new and paid attention to the differences.

Do you have a video of the other characters? All I can find on youtube are videos about Yuri. I really enjoyed the English dub on the 360 for the most part.

They are only good if the games were made by Germans.

Dubs are not like they were 15 years ago user. There is actual effort put in now.
However that doesn't apply to vidya as much as it does to anime. Vidya dubs are still trying to catch up, though you'll find one once in a while that sounds pretty good.

I wish more games did this - localization teams focus too much on familiarity and not enough on talent, which is why you hear Erica Lindbeck and Matthew Mercer in literally every Japanese game.
