there's a second mezuki/gozuki submission?
It's a main mission.
nice
where is the gear share spot in nioh 2?
oh fuck
On another note i just fucking noticed you could become a visitor for a specific mission from the world map by selecting the mission and pressing square.
This boss has to be the worst in the game, so much wasted time just avoiding charge attacks only for him to just whip out a grab that reaches throughout the entire area and usually kills you.
Fun.
>Odachi
>High-stance
>Twin Moons
>Repeat that skill mostly in missions
>So far works for most enemies and bosses
Help how do I git gud at Odachi
>got ice odachi technique on first try
54 kills to get odachi spin to win. Got taro tachi smithing text on the same kill
>This boss has to be the worst in the game, so much wasted time just avoiding charge attacks
that's what I did until I discovered that's not what you should do
use a burst counter instead of dodging/blocking when he charges
What's the skill name
swirling snow
Why would I burst counter a move that isn't a red flash attack? Brute would just take damage for a hit which doesn't seem worth it, feral would do nothing but what dodge does and Phantom would just block and/or run out of Ki?
Are there any good medium armour sets for ninjutsu, or is it "forced" to go light armour with it? Should I just go onmyo if I want to go samurai fantasy rather than ninja?
Dude those health bars look like indie tier shit. Rest of the game looks fine though.
some attacks can be burst countered even if there's no red flash.
Just me, or are bosses far tankier in this game than in Nioh 1? My slashes feel like they deal far less damage than they do on bosses in Nioh 1.
No, if anything they're more fragile since you can drain the ki so easily giving you plenty of time to get free damage in
Bullshit. Probably.
They’re much easier to kill in this game.
Great, now I have to fight Ice boss AND another mob?
I realized after getting to chapter three.
I kind of hate this game.
no it's not
What am I missing then? In Nioh 1 I used kurasigama, in this one katana and even with high stance my hits only deal like 3-4% per hit. I swear I could cut off at least 5% per hit in Nioh 1.
Is that from the Ice Odachi boss?
every tranny really is using that garb huh
Kino tier
>Azai Nagamasa
>Shuten Doji
>Imagawa Yoshimoto
>Wirriam
Good tier
>Kamaitachi
>Saito Yoshitatsu
>Shibata Katsuie
>Ryomen Sukuna
Meh tier
>Anyone else
Bullshit tier
>Owl
>Gyuki
>Skeleton castle
>Tentacle castle
Fire feather jutsu and lantern core fucks him up good
I'm gonna take your word for it, but if you're lying I will haunt you from the spirit world.
>owl
>bullshit
what?
Gimmick bosses are just unfun. Owl's not as bad as the castles, but is still a pain to fight.
Wait why did saika drop me the diehard smithing text and not yatagarasu?
I had problems with him until I realized that his grab hitbox is only around his head and doesn't extend to his arms. Even then you still have to be careful about him yeeting it out randomly when you're close, but his other moves are really easy to dodge and punish.
Help. Anyone?
what are some good Jutsus to lear? I tried shuriken and fire shuriken but the damage is just laughable
Shibata Katsuie has the biggest grab hitbox of any boss I've ever fought in a videogame.
So I am trying to go full Kunai meme build.
Should I respec to remove those points from Magic and dump them all into Dextarity? Also any good armor sets for a Ninjitsu character?
>Otakemaru
>meh
>and doesn't extend to his arms
It goes out to at least his tusks/torso though, but the real problem is the distance he suddenly covers and how he can combo it off other attacks too. Not exactly bullshit, but it does not make for a fun fight. Anyway, I'm not struggling that badly with him. I just get frustrated with the time it takes.
I got 3/4 of his hp down on my first try, but I still think he's the worst so far. Even Gyuki was better, I think.
>fighting the boss when you havent finished exploring the tiny map
come on now
Essential skills:
Twin Moons (you already have that)
Moonlit Snow
Charging Bull
Bolting Boar
Tail Strike
Crashing Waves
Put Moonlit Snow on Low and Mid Stance. It's your highest damaging skill if you can pull off all four slashes. Use it to punish ki broken enemies.
Use Charging Bull on humans and revenants. Do three quick attacks followed by the Charging Bull. If they try to block, then you're guaranteed a knockdown on opponents from breaking their ki.
Bolting Boar for parries. You can even use it on yokai with weapons. Once they're knocked down, you have tons of okizeme options afterwards.
Tail Strike and Crashing Waves for draining enemy ki.
tfw he goes for insta grab during your attack or block animation
>nioh 1
>get armor that improves some odachi shit
>don't have the dlc
I'm assuming this dropped from a bloody grave but it still pisses me off.
also the boss odachi swirling snow move is really really good
It's not just his bulldozing runs. It's also his spinning axes that spin around him for about 4-5 seconds and basically zone you out. It's also his multi-hitting red flash attack. It's also his Dark Realm extra mad bulldozing that adds fire puddles where he runs. It's also the fact that he can indefinitely delay the last horizontal X-slash that he does after finishing his regular bulldozing run (the AI is basically waiting for you to press an attack input so that it can punish you).
He has so many moves that waste your time. I don't like him. It is made worse by the fact that he easily has like three times as much HP as even Ryomen Sukuna from the previous mission.
what are the changes in ng+?
I haven't gotten that yet, but I have indeed heard from many people that it's very good. Once I've beaten the game, I'll start farming for that move. And if I haven't gotten it by my 10th run, I'll give up and wait for the PC version so that I can cheat it in, because fuck dealing with RNG.
holy shit all that calligraphy you can hang why are there so many what the fuck
also how do you acquire tea sets??
And the thing is, the game basically forces you to roll forward or sideways (mostly forward, because the horizontal tracking on that grab is fucking magnetic). Because if you backpedal or backroll, then even if you somehow don't get caught by the grab, you still get hit by the immediate axe swing follow-up that always comes after the grab.
He's definitely the hardest boss of the game so far. He is what Shima Sakon was for me in Nioh 1 in that he is the first boss of this game to kill me more than 10 times. But at least Shima Sakon's command grab didn't cover like 1/3rd of the arena.
>new patch
>nerfs all round
game too hard lmao?
who the fuck plays games on PS4? I'll preorder the definitive edition including the season pass for a reasonable price when it hits steam in november lol
There is an Armor Set I remember getting that has an Odachi, but it's an Omnyo Set. I think it's medium armor?
At three pieces, I remember it buffing an Odachi Skill and at max? It buffed your attack damage with more Omnyo Damage you had.
Does anyone know the set and which enemy / boss drops it?
>Need to kill your twin with the weapon you want for the skill you want
Fucking hell, talk about cancer. I only realized this after I got the Katana and the Dual Katana skills, but not the Odachi since I never killed him with the Odachi out.
????
no sexy armor sets?
You are 100% wrong, dude.
>axe is bad
Not him, but I only got the Katana skill when he had the Katana out. And my friend only got the 2kat skill when he had the 2kat skill out.
can you lurk for two seconds?
And I have both the Odachi and Katana skill by using only Tonfa + Spear. It's just regular drop rates.
No, he means whichever weapon the boss is using. The boss switches between Odachi, Katana and 2kat. Whichever one he is using is whichever one the boss skill drops at the time of his death.
There are none
Added the ability to easily increase the skill level of other weapons if the skill level of one weapon type is high

“Skebito” health increased
Adjusted the recommended level notation so that the recommended levels for some missions are appropriate
When “Ushioni” rushes into a weir (cough), the horn is pierced so that the weir is not destroyed by jump attack etc.

Oh, my bad. I misread. That seems incredibly unlikely though.
exploding shuriken is really just for setting enemy on fire, but bombs do a better job of that.
vanilla shuriken is mainly there just to be the cheapest option, Kunai will always do more damage and ki damage, especially thrown at the back. They really shine on human enemies since you can snipe them when they use all their ki, letting you run in after for a free grapple.
poison shurikens are really strong, procs on most enemies if they haven't noticed you, usually only 2 if they have unless they are resistant, and really easy to roll damage buffs on poisoned enemies onto your accessories for a cool extra 40% or more.
quick change will never be bad, they even increased the limit from 3 to 4 in this game.
Thanks user
