What was the biggest waste of money you ever spent on a video game?

I preordered Animal Crossing at Gamestop and fully paid for it and now I'm not sure I want to go with the coronavirus out and about. And that's if it's even open.

bought the limited edition of dragon age: origins. which included a little behind the scenes commentary with the developer, was pretty garbage, uninteresting, and the "tips" they gave where like, braindead retarded easy to figure out on your own.

on a related note, limited edition video games are a pretty big waste, unless you get something REALLY cool like an art book, AND you happen to be a big fan of the artists / designers of the game, its never worth it

Halo 3 dlc

Watch dogs. I will never buy a ea game again.

bought gta 5 full price on steam one day before it went down to half off

>I will never buy a ea game again.
I mean, that's wise, but Watch Dogs is Ubisoft.

Are you over Age 60? If not then stop fucking crying about Corona like a little pussy.

>"recovered" patients becoming sick again days after becoming healthy
>doctor's finding out lung function is severely compromised after getting infected
>turns out plenty of young people are getting it in Europe, it's not just a "boomer virus"

we so fucking fucked if this doesn't just blow over you have no idea

For me, it's witcher 3. I couldn't bring myself to playing it for more than 2 hours.

You may now laugh
i think it was $150 when i bought it

I bought little king's story on the vita and all of it's DLC before even playing the game and understanding it's laggy garbage

Bought Guild Wars 2 on release

League of fucking legends. I probably dropped close to 500 on that shit. If I could I would go back in time a decade and strangle myself until I learned to like it just for giving riot money.

The Division 2.

Spent $3.59 on it.

150€ on warframe. I was weak

That game is a prime example of taxing the ignorant.

You could literally have a mod or prime piece that's insane tedious to grind for that could go for hundreds to thousands and if you don't know that you'll be poor forever.

Then DE nerfs weapon or mod and now you're sitting on 35p

a PS4 just for RDR2.

Gotta love those PS4 exclusives! I bought my PS4 for Death Stranding, Horizon Zero Dawn, and FF7R. Three games that will NEVER come to PC!

Jumpforce

i bought p5 and mh world and never played much past the kamoshida and hardly touched world

I just want Bloodborne, man. Not any of these pieces of shits

>preordered brink
>preordered that alice madness returns game after it was shown at e3 2011 or some shit, never played
>preordered dead space 2 collector's edition
>all those steam games bought on sale and never played

my vote goes to BRINK. my friend said it would be the bomb. he never bought the game like he said he would

Attached: IMG_20190528_223611887e.jpg (1600x1200, 478.38K)

I honestly think Bloodborne will probably happen too.

Huh, I didn't know Idubbz was a stock photo model

>BRINK. my friend said it would be the bomb.
Technically speaking he was right.

why the long face?

Fez. I've never bought a game and not finished it except for Fez. I left less than one hour into the game when it asked me to read a QR code. Fuck Fez.

Another stock photo I posted, someone said it was some guy named Linus. Apparently there are a lot of eceleb stock photo models.

Red Dead Redemption 2 for PS4 and its horrible 30 FPS lock

$80, never listen to stupid friends. Do yourself a favour and keep stupid friends out of your life or at least at arm's length.

Hmmm...I bought War of the Monsters twice.
I threw it away the first time, because I felt bad that there was a Devil in the Las Vegas level.

But I loved the game so much I bought it again. I still play it every now and then

Attached: Monster__s_of_War_by_GodzillaKing.jpg (900x395, 119.41K)

around probably $400 on realm of the mad god

>I threw it away the first time, because I felt bad that there was a Devil in the Las Vegas level.
What on earth does this mean?

I bought the mgo2 dlc. I still had fun with it. [spoiler/]

Friday the 13th: The Game

Shining Resonance Refrain for £38.

>dragon age 2
>mass effect 3
>diablo 3
They weren't quite 60 bucks but still.
I used to be affected by pre-release hype a lot as you can see and I've learned my lesson.

Wolfenstein II on launch.

Attached: donacdum.png (285x256, 41.62K)

I once bought a 100$ shark card in gtav.

I probably spent at least 4-500 on Duel Links. I honestly don't even want to know how much I spent on it. Could be more, could be less. Spent 350 on league of legends too but I still play league to this day and don't really regret it. But Duel links, man they sucked me in hard and completely power crept their game every single box until I was forced to buy more and more every set release until I just got tired of the game itself, thank god.

There IS a Devil in the Las Vegas level. You had corrected yourself but his temptation brought you to sin again.. Sorry brother

damn really? was this before casino heist?

Source nigga

Collector's edition of Dissidia NT only to be extremely disappointed in the game. The box it came in is also very cheap.

Hard to get affected by prerelease hype here on Yas Forums because they shit on every new game, even the ones that actually turn out good.

Sold my entire 360 collection for a bone and a day one copy of MCC.

>do you think the maps were worth 10 dollars?

>turns out plenty of young people are getting it in Europe, it's not just a "boomer virus"
no shit young people can get it you idiot. the problem is that it kills old people, not young people.

I bought the original game because me and my friend love playing games like orcs must die or dungeon defenders. Thought this was going to be similar fun. My biggest vidya regret besides getting hyped for Brink (which I didn't think was god awful like most people, just mediocre).

WoW and Dota 2

$60 for GTAV for PS3 at launch. A year later I pirated it for PC to play it at INFINITELY higher fidelity.

I bought Bioshock Infinite day 1 at full retail price ($100AUD) because Adam Sessler said it was one of the greatest games of all time and I should drop everything I'm doing and buy it.

Glad he turned into a raging drug addict and social justice twitter nobody

god damn that's rough LOL

I spent like 8-10 bucks on Doctor Strange in that Marvel ARPG that I forgot the name of (theyve changed it like twice as well)

I spent $100 on a copy of silent hill shattered memories for ps2. It sucks

I don't think it's that bad, just not anything amazing and they seem to have largely given up on it after Battle Royale's success. All they ever do is new event storylines with a surprising amount of voice acting for a mode nobody plays. They did just update it so you can use all your stuff from Battle Royale though so that's nice.

Sadly, Xbone X. I liked the idea but it turned out that many "upgraded" games still ran like ass because they don't use half the features.

>"recovered" patients becoming sick again days after becoming healthy
source on this
>>doctor's finding out lung function is severely compromised after getting infected
its still too soon to see if its permanent or it return to normal after some months.
>turns out plenty of young people are getting it in Europe, it's not just a "boomer virus"
stop getting news from facebook or whatever shithole you get them, it can infect ANYONE, its more dangerous for old people.

I payed 50 $ for Dragon Ball Z Taiketsu 13 years ago and I'm still regretting

I preordered Duke Nukem Forever.

Just go to pol and check out the general they have there. Everything is archived

This is literally as bad as saying "just google it."

If it's minor scarring normal lung function will likely return. It will only be bad if it creates large wounds, enough for heavy regions of scarred tissue. Similar to how liver can fall apart from heavy amounts of scarred tissue.

When i was 19 i bought cod bo 1 2 and 3 whit all the dlcs on ps4
thats arround 421 bucks

then i pirated them all one year later when i discovered how pc gaming works

Attached: 1581765080153.jpg (554x474, 65.75K)

game is dead now, sad, it was a really good game.

Forgive me father

Cool bro

FFXV Deluxe Edition
I mean the steelbook looks awesome and all but the game is just garbage

>Yas Forums
i may belive about all the jewish conspiracies they are investigating, but im not getting health information from it.

I bought overwatch.

I preordered both Dead Space 3 and Sim City back in 2013

Seriously, post an actual link or you're full of shit.

many young people are dying from the virus in Europe now, it's everywhere on TV

350 bucks on PS4.

Seriously what the fuck is so bad about a "devil" being in the game, whatever that means. Can't you just kill him?

Power Rangers Super Legends and Herbie Rescue Rally for DS when I was a kid (
