Are there any games about Cain and Abel?

Or games centered (even loosely) around random neat stories and shit from the Bible?

The Vampire: the Masquerade games rely on the Caine and Abel story, but it's only tangentially related to their plots.

Dominions has some cool biblical inspired nation's you can play as. From the manual, on the inspirations of 3 such nations:
>Hinnom, Ashdod and Gath are heavily influenced by ancient Israelite, Canaanite and Philistine concepts. I have always been intrigued and fascinated by biblical mythology, and had long I wanted to include the Nephilim and biblical Genesis myths into the game. However, I was worried that I would not do the sources justice, so it took a while before I finally got down to finish the nations. The Bible, the Book of Enoch, the Dead Sea scrolls and the Ras Shamra texts of Ugarit and interpretations of these texts are the main sources of the nations.
>Hinnom draws more heavily on the biblical and Enochian tradition, while the veneration of the deified dead kings of Ashdod draws inspiration from the Ras Shamra and Canaanite/Ugaritic concepts of the dead. The rephaim/r'p'm of the Ugaritic texts are ghosts or deified dead rather than giants, so Ashdod turned out a bit different than I first intended, with death magic replacing blood. The shift from blood to death gave the nation a different and interesting mood.
>I have looked a bit at Sumerian and Babylonian history when designing Hinnom and Ashdod. Gath, on the other hand draws more heavily from Israelite and Philistine concepts. Early Israelite religion and history with a centralized cult at the temple and Israelite tribes, combined with the legends of David and Goliath of Gath are obvious sources for the late iteration of the nation.
>I wanted the nation to be an abomination, slowly becoming more civilized throughout the ages. Hinnom is perhaps more than any other nation in the game an evil nation. I'm not very fond of the concept of evil, but it would be difficult to claim that the cannibalistic giants of Hinnom are anything but.

No they weren't.

Robert Burns and Sam go at it in the game because Sam can do what Robert wants credit for. Robert is strong and hardened by war, he leads the squad and smokes a cigar. Sam is small and fragile, has dreadlocks and relies on cutting edge science that hasn't even been tested yet to field the mission. Robert repeatedly wants credit for being a war hero. Sam just wants to make sure everyone is safe.

Games based on every single religion/mythos/ancient civilization when?

Yes, yes they were. And other religions such as Islam are guilty of this just as much as Christianity. Although you are probably a lefty so it never crossed your mind that Brown people could do something you consider to be bad.

It's Warhammer 40K's story about how the Emprah was born.

Never thought of it that way, you’re probably right.
Like a compilation of stories and lessons that people had heard about.

What does this have to do with Cain and abel

>Sam is small and fragile, has dreadlocks and relies on cutting edge science that hasn't even been tested yet to field the mission.
I forgot that Abel was a scientist and a soldier

I believe Cain is central to the lore of Vampire: The Masquerade.

Devil Survivor is all about Cain and Abel

>One 'brother' is jealous of the other, who acts selflessly and is only concerned about honoring his commitment
>What does this have to do with Cain and Abel
Huh?

Cain and Abel are brothers who till the ground for the Lord. Abel is resolute and firm in his faith. Cain is direct and dispassionate about his ardor. When God smiles on Abel's work, and not Cain's, Cain is offended and asks God why his work is not just as good. God replies, "For whether you offer well, or whether you do not, at the tent flap sin crouches and for you is its longing, but you will rule over it." This means that Cain's ability as a servant can never be taken from him, even though he knows this; Cain despises his brother and kills him. God curses Cain so that he can no longer grow crops and marks him Avenge Sevenfold.

Just like in the parable, Robert Burns wants exclusive praise for saving America from the Russians. He wants to be glorified as a war hero and promised the medal of honor. He hates Sam for his acumen and freshman military ability. What he hates even more is the ARS suit that Sam wears to have an edge on the field (a suit that doesn't even have field data). When Robert finally comes to the realization that he is outmatched, and focuses on his mission, he tries to kill Sam and fails. This leads Sam and Robert into the same mechanisms that move Cain and Abel as a narrative, that being the good son, and the neglected.

Arent all the vampires in Vampire the Masquerade descendants of Cain?

Yes, the work in VTMB is directly related to the story of Cain and Abel.

Robert does not murder him tho and there's no repercussions. Brotherly envy is not the same as Cain and Abel.

Cain and Abel is not about brothers feuding over being brothers.

Did you take the charity money user?

I made sure to spend it all on hookers

So basically, the lesson is that sometimes two people can do the same thing, but one of them gets more praise and reward just because. And if you feel jealous then fuck you.

those were some nice ass jeans

Don't you know Anons, every story was inspired by the bible. Not a believer? still the bible. Did it come before the bible? well the bible was the refined, perfected and divinely-inspired version of that story. Just don't ask me if I actually believe in God, though.

Attached: file.png (1000x750, 1.63M)

Kind of yes. The lesson is that if you get a job from God or some omniscient power, you can't lose it. Only he can take it away from you. So if you start getting upset or mad because someone else is getting rewards for the job he gave you, you are likely to get fired. So yeah in a way, if you get jealous you lose.

Vanquish has nothing to do with the story of Cain and Abel shut the fuck up

The characterization and the extended metaphors both conflict with your post.

Not to mention Francois Candide making a direct assessment of the novella.

God is a fucking asshole

Stop peddling baloney in my fucking thread you son of a gypsy

I hope your family meets islam truck driver

God is very jealous and mean sometimes yes.

The Judeo-Christian God is notorious for blaming people, he also gets mad at himself and says things like, "I will never do this again, I am sorry."
