Just beat Dragon Age: Origins and loved every minute of it. Should I bother with the DLC or dive right into DA2/3?

Absolutely play Awakening if you liked the base game. Then you're probably better off not playing 2 or Inquisition, but I can't stop you if you do
>loved every minute of it
you're clearly retarded and tasteless so you might as well
DLC are worth it. Avoid DA2 like the plague. Inquisition is better than DA2 but worse than DA1.
What is so good in Awakening?
Play the dlc
Ignore 2/3
>Playing DA2 after loving DA:O
It's okay, OP. I'm sure you're used to disappointment by now. If not, maybe one of your exes can explain it to you.
>DA2
Should we tell him?
hate this shitty fucking trash game series
>dive right into DA2/3?
A-user...
Awakening is just more of the same, just a well-made expansion.
DA2 and DAI were just so shit in comparison to the first game, that everything that came before them seems like solid gold.
Awakening is pretty short so play it. I was burnt out of the base game but awakening makes you overpowered as fuck and you can steamroll on through.
>I really enjoyed this video game
>should I completely ignore all additional content for it though and play the second game
>or should I just skip to the last one in a very story oriented series
What the fuck is wrong with some people. Genuinely.
>dive right into DA2/3?
user, I.........................
I do I fucking fix this please? I'm desesperate, I just want to play the fucking game.
Play Awakening and Witch Hunt DLCs. The series ends after Witch Hunt.
Its actually a legit question in Dragon Age.
>dive right into DA2/3
Well, you personally seem to starve for validation
Incorrect. 2 is great. Inquisition is absolutely not better than 2. Is a giant bowl of shit. Its 90% empty fetch quests. Its Fallout 76 fantasy version. The textures and physical mechanics especially killed it for me, it all looks like a fucking SFM video. 2 gets a little carried away with the enemy placement but its great.
>2 is great
>nice argument mr. Yas Forums
I wouldn't call constant reinforcements from the sides of the map "a little carried away with the enemy placement". Classes are also gutted in favour of press button to awesome, and you will end up re-visiting the same locations at least a dozen of times because of different quests that are only available at different points in time, clearly just to pad that piece of shit.
>Is a giant bowl of shit.
>argument
H'uh, mr. Yas Forums
The classes suck if you play the bad ones, sure. You must hate inquisition if classes are that much of a problem for you. Because they fucking ruined them. Especially the only good one, which is mage.
You probably like Andromeda
Play awakening for sure. And then Witch Hunt if romanced Morrigan.
DA2 is really hard to recommend. It had great ideas going for it, but a lot of the execution is really poor. I guess play it for yourself if you wanna try it, but be warned that it's a different beast than Origins
>great ideas
Such as?
Let this thread serve as a lesson that you can't get any value from asking questions like this. Especially here. Your favorite thing is someones least favorite thing.
Both 2 and Inquisition are bad. Just that DA2 is still entertaining as fuck, meanwhile DAI is boring.
Origins is a masterpiece. Flawed? Yes, but still an unforgettable game to me.
Couldnt stand to play the second game, it was so shitty.
Inquisition combat is cool, but the story is boooooooring. Also the maps are way too big, it looks like an mmorpg map ffs.
2 is not great it's just better than 3 and isnt filled with fetch quests throwing around massive empty levels
Anders' plotline had a lot of potential to be cool
Making the story a more personal story about a person just trying to make a life for their family instead of being another big epic save the world plot
What's with the hate on inquisition. It's a fun game and the story is entertaining. Only thing is the character creator is fuckeddd but mods fix that.
I will admit the begin ingredient could be boring but that's only if it a turbo autist and stay in the hitherlands forever
If you really enjoyed a game, why would you not even try the additional content.
Origins is cowboy bebop, awakening is the movie
You gotta play awakening, 2 without knowing anders is lame
Play Awakening, enjoy it and cherish it because it's the last bit of really good DA content, play DA2, be disgusted at a lot of the decisions they took with it, laugh at others, enjoy a few of the game's aspects if you can, go to DA:I, drop it halfway through.
At least that's how it went for me.
2 isn't bad. Legacy proved that 2 needed better maps and battles. Story wise it's fine. The whole Templars bad mages good is really compelling because the more you look at it, the more inverted it gets. Even Meredith is far more sympathetic than at first seemed. Orsino is far less sympathetic than first shown.
It's a fair size for a DLC with some nice party members, a good villain, and a little bit of kingdom management as you come to control a small castle..
It's literally the good part of the game. If you like the base game you'll love awakening
Awakening ties directly into DA2, so definitely play it if you can. It's also really good.
They should have written the show more like a season of television. Bunch of monster of the week episodes that build up to a finale.
Alistair best boi :3
The DLC is top fun. Play it before moving on to the next games.
The eternal question.
Leliana
Do not play anything past Awakening
Witch Hunt?
THIS FOR THE LOVE OF GOD
I'll add that you'll only love Awakening the first time around. It's pretty boring on replays.
Top Lel of course
Witch Hunt is really short but it's not bad.
Is Dragons Dogma as good, better? I love dragon age and want a fantasy world to move to for quarantine. Was thinking about replaying Origins, never played Dogma
I agree the fade part sucks doesn't it.
Comparing the two is apples and oranges, but I recommend Dragon's Dogma anyway. Combat is fantastic; very weighty but still flows beautifully. Just don't expect a good story - that's where the game really fails, because a fucking HUGE chunk of the planned content got cut.
Nah OP, play 2. Its okay to begin with, you'll probably hate it by the end and never replay it but its still worth it lore wise before playing inquisition
I liked the fade. Y'all are stupid as shit. Take a chill pill an relax.
I have a solution to that as well.
Don't play Inclusivitysition.
No you didn't. You have stockholm syndrome that part is terrible without question
Do the dlc for the 1 and pretend 2/3 don't exist. Then you can play recent cprg like pillars, Divinity, pathfinder.
with Dragon Age you should be asking if you should skip the other games, not asking if you should skip the content in the good one.
No, it really wasn't. The entire tower leading up to it was great. The fade was pretty good. The ending to all of that was really good. Stupid cunt. You only don't like it because you're a childish faggot who hates the idea of having their precious freedom taken away for a dreadful 15 minutes as they forced to focus.
You can easily speed run that place if you hated that much, but it certainly didn't make the game worse. There was a lot of shit to see and do in the fade. Maybe you're suffering from a faulty memory and cling to shitty memes for reference.
Play the dlc and pretend nothing else exists.
>ignore the games that hurt my nazi feefees :(
I want election tourists to leave.
Apart from having the most obnoxious lesbian elf ever created I can't remember what else was political in Inquisition.
Not that it matters much, it was the game itself that sucked.
Inquisition isn't like that. Plus Dorian is one of the best characters in all Dragon Age. Whoever wrote him knows how to make a gay character without making them just patronizing virtue signalling
this
How did we get to nazis?
Not as much as the deep roads.
Fuck the deep roads.
Nah cunt, I played them all, 2 and 3 suck ass.
>or dive right into DA2/3?
don't do this. learn from the mistakes of others and dont repeat them.
Yeah shes annoying but not for being a lesbian, shes just annoying personality. Shes a good character for testing inquisitors patience which adds to the story. Only character I think straight up sucks is cole
>Only character I think straight up sucks is cole
Honestly I can barely even remember using him. What was his deal? He was a spirit or something, right? I remember him being wierd as fuck. What was wrong with him?
